The invention provides a J-shaped ribbon overturning and storing device which comprises a ribbon coiler, a J-shaped ribbon overturning and storing device body, a base and a storage quantity sensor. The ribbon coiler is located on the inlet side of the J-shaped ribbon overturning and storing device body, the J-shaped ribbon overturning and storing device body is mounted on the base, and the storagequantity sensor is mounted on the outlet side of the J-shaped ribbon overturning and storing device body. The outlet side of the J-shaped ribbon overturning and storing device body is lower than theinlet side and is not higher than the J-shaped bottom arc-shaped center line. According to the technical scheme, ribbons produced by carding machines are overturned and stored through the device and then are directly conveyed to a drawing frame through a ribbon conveying device to be produced. It becomes possible that the carding machines and the drawing frame are automatically connected and carryout continuous production.
