    • An extraction cleaning device housing multiple cleaning solutions that can dispensed by manipulation of a control coupled to the extraction device. Multiple cleaning solution supply reservoirs are coupled to the cleaning device and in fluid communication with a dispensing head. Through the use of the control, an operator can select a specific cleaning solution for a specific application. Manipulation of the control allows for nearly instantaneous conversion between cleaning solutions for different applications. Some embodiments of the cleaning device have a housing with an end that engages the ground during cleaning operations. The housing at least partially contains several cleaning solution supply reservoirs, a rinse fluid reservoir, and an extracted fluid reservoir. A vacuum source can also be housed within the housing.

    • A floor tool is provided, and includes a handle with first and second opposite ends through which a longitudinal axis of the handle extends, and a mop head coupled to the second end of the handle. In some embodiments, a fluid container is coupled to and carried by the handle at a location between the first and second ends of the handle. The fluid container can have a center of mass offset from the longitudinal axis. In some embodiments, a portion of the handle is located between the fluid container and the first end of the handle, and is offset from the longitudinal axis more than center of mass of the fluid reservoir. The floor tool can also have a valve coupled to the handle and having a gap into which a length of conduit extending from the fluid container can be laterally inserted. A valve-actuating trigger can be coupled to the handle for rotation, such that the trigger pivot point is closer to the second end of the handle than the terminal end of the trigger squeezed by a user.

    • A method for controlling the flow of a fluid on a surface. In some embodiments, the method includes providing a fluid absorbent tape that includes an absorbent material, a fluid permeable cover enclosing the absorbent material to form an elongated fluid absorbent tape, and a separating structure that is formed in a transverse direction across the elongated fluid absorbent tape and the absorbent material. The separating structure divides the elongated tape into first and second sections. The first section of fluid absorbent tape is separable from the second section of fluid absorbent tape along the separating structure. Also in some embodiments, the method further includes separating a desired length of the first section of fluid absorbent tape from the second section at said separating structure, placing the first section on the surface, and contacting the first section with the fluid to be controlled so that the absorbent material forms a physical barrier to the flow of fluid.
