    • An electronic device which enables easily providing a mounting orientation recognition mark thereon while being provided with, on a end surface thereof, input/output terminals surrounded by a ground pattern. A substrate is provided within a case main body. A ground is formed on the surface of the substrate. An output terminal, a power terminal, a clock terminal, a GND terminal and a mounting orientation recognition mark hole have been formed on the ground through pattern removal. The main portion of the substrate is exposed through an opening in the case and the tip end portions of the output terminal and the like are slightly protruded from the end surface of the case main body. The ground pattern on the substrate, the case main body and the like are electrically connected to the GND terminal and the entire component is shielded.

    • A replaceable battery fixture is disclosed for fixing a replaceable battery device having a first fixing portion and a second fixing portion to a housing of an electronic equipment. The replaceable battery fixture includes a first fixing member for being fixed to the first fixing portion of the replaceable battery device, and a second fixing member for being fixed to the second fixing portion of the battery device. The second fixing member can move bias and elastically in accordance with the housing, so as to bias move the second fixing member by the second fixing portion of the battery device after the first fixing member is fixed to the first fixing portion. A force for bias moving the second fixing member is released when the replaceable battery device reaches to a predetermined position, so that the second fixing member is restored by its elastic force and fixed to the second fixing portion.

    • A telecommunications system includes a chassis having a front side and a rear side and a plurality of jacks mounted to the chassis. Each jack includes an IN port, an OUT port and a MONITOR port. A cross-connect panel including an array of cross-connect connection locations is accessible from the front side of the chassis. An optical multiplexer housed within the chassis is electrically connected to the jacks by circuitry within the chassis. The multiplexer is configured to multiplex a plurality of IN electrical signals that are going away from the jacks toward a piece of telecommunications equipment to an IN optical signal and is configured to split an OUT optical signal that is going away from the piece of telecommunications equipment toward the jacks to a plurality of OUT electrical signals, wherein the IN electrical signals and the OUT electrical signals can be monitored by inserting plugs into the MONITOR ports of the jacks.

    • A mounting apparatus for mounting a motherboard (10) includes a base (80), an operating member (40) and a supporting tray (20). The base has a plurality of first standoffs (82) formed thereon. The operating member is pivotably attached to the base. The operating member includes a driver (44). The supporting tray is adapted to be attached to the motherboard. The supporting tray defines an opening (291) for receiving the driver therein. The driver is pivoted to engage with the edge of the opening, so that the motherboard moves horizontally to be secured to the first standoffs of the base.
