    • A support and radiation therapy system is provided. The support includes an elongated support arm that is longitudinally adjustable. A first arm is rotatable in the support arm about a first axis that is perpendicular to the support arm. A flat detector is rotatable in the first arm about a second axis that is parallel to the first axis. The detector is essentially parallel to the support arm. A motor is operative to drive the rotation of the first arm. A first gear is operative to rotate the first arm and is connected to the motor. A second gear is operative to rotate the detector and is connected to the motor. The second gear is operative to rotate contrary to the first gear.

    • The invention relates to a stand (5) which is especially adapted to support for a digital X-ray detector (4) for an X-ray system (1), and to an X-ray system (1) comprising such a stand (5).     • A night vision device includes an image intensifier tube and a fiber optic screen disposed in operative relationship to each other. The fiber optic screen includes a longitudinal bundle of multiple optical fibers, where the bundle has an outer surface. A groove is formed in the fiber optic screen and extends transversely to the longitudinal bundle. An indicator is positioned adjacent to the outer surface of the bundle and is proximate to the groove, where the groove is configured to redirect light emitted from the indicator for viewing by a user. The groove may be formed circumferentially around a portion of the outer surface of the longitudinal bundle. The groove includes a surface of end portions of multiple cut optical fibers, and the groove is configured to redirect the light emitted from the indicator toward the user by way of the end portions of the multiple cut optical fibers.
