摘要： Provided is a capacitor discharge device that quickly and safely discharges a capacitor charged with energy inside a sub-module of an MMC converter, the device including: a capacitor storing a DC voltage inside a sub-module of an MMC converter; a power supply unit supplying operating power required in the submodule by using the voltage stored in the capacitor; a first resistor connected in parallel to the capacitor; a second resistor having a lower resistance value and a larger heat capacity than the first resistor so as to rapidly discharge the capacitor storing the voltage; a first switching contact connecting and disconnecting the capacitor and the second resistor; a switching unit operating switching of the first switching contact by the operating power; a second switching contact connecting and disconnecting the power supply unit and the switching unit; and a control unit operating switching of the second switching contact.

The electromagnetic contactor includes an electromagnet that opens and closes a contact by using DC excitation of a coil, a lower case that accommodates the electromagnet, external coil terminals that are disposed in the lower case beside the electromagnet, and a substrate that is accommodated in the lower case, and that has a rectifier circuit whose input side is connected to the external coil terminals and whose output side is connected to the coil so as to output a DC after converting an input AC to the DC. An inner surface of the lower case has a groove between the electromagnet and the external coil terminals. The substrate is held by being inserted into the groove.

While the load is de-energized, sending a test signal to a normally closed contact (b1, b2) and detecting the state of the returning test signal sent. Resending a test signal when a detection result does not satisfy a predetermined criteria, and re-detecting the state of the returning test signal resent. The state of the returning test signal resent may be assessed as normal when the re-detection result satisfies the predetermined criteria.
