    • A light-emission device with a two-dimensional OLED element and an encapsulation element for protecting the OLED element. The light-emission device furthermore has a support, on which the OLED element is arranged in such a way that the encapsulation element points toward the support, and an electrical conductor element for an electrical connection between the support and the OLED element. wherein the electrical conductor element is elastic in a normal direction to the OLED element. By way of example, the conductor element can be helical. As a result of the elastic property thereof, the conductor element can absorb mechanical tension while ensuring reliable electrical contacting. Hence, this can reduce or even avoid the risk of the electrical connection between the support and the OLED element being disadvantageously influenced or impaired by forces which can occur when handling the light-emission device or which can be generated by temperature variations.

    • A display device includes a substrate, a mask, a case, and a sealing member. The mask has a mask surface and a side wall provided around a periphery of the mask surface and projecting backwardly from the mask surface. The mask is provided on a front surface of the substrate so that the mask surface faces the front surface of the substrate and the side wall surrounds a side surface of the substrate. The case is provided on a back surface of the substrate to sandwich the substrate between the mask and the case. The sealing member is provided in a first region, a second region, and a third region provided between the first region and the second region. The sealing member has a first protrusion which is in contact with a step end surface of the case in the third region.

    • The invention provides a light-emitting arrangement (100, 200, 300), comprising: a light source (101, 201, 301) adapted to emit light of a first wavelength; a wavelength converting member (106, 206, 306) comprising a wavelength converting material adapted to receive light of said first wavelength and to convert at least part of the received light to light of a second wavelength; a sealing structure (103) at least partially surrounding said wavelength converting member to form a sealed cavity (105, 205, 305) containing at least said wavelength converting member, said cavity containing a controlled atmosphere; and a getter material (108, 208, 308) arranged within said sealed cavity, wherein said getter material is adapted to operate in the presence of water and/or produces water as a reaction product. Such getter materials have high capacity for removal of oxygen from the atmosphere within the sealed cavity, such that a low oxygen concentration can be maintained within the cavity. Hence, the lifetime of the wavelength converting material may be prolonged.
