摘要： A vehicle wheel spinner comprising a donut shaped housing having a front and back ring forming a cavity therein. The front ring has a series of apertures formed therein. A spinning ring is rotatably mounted within said cavity. Various visual effects are produced by providing on the surface of the spinning ring facing the front ring of said housing at least one section of a contrasting color to the remainder of the surface. When the spinning ring rotates the colors show through said aperture(s) during rotation of the spinning ring. The wheel spinner is attached to the vehicle wheel in a manner that the housing rotates with the wheel and the spinning ring rotates separately from the rotation of the housing and continues to rotate for a time after the wheel stops rotating.

摘要： A motor vehicle blind-spot detection system has a remote sensor covering a rear-quadrant blind spot sensing zone and a forward-quadrant side impact sensing zone. A control module receives signals from a side impact sensor and the blind-spot detection sensor, calculates an approach vector of an object in the side impact sensing zone and/or the blind spot sensing zone, determines that the object will impact the vehicle, initializes a side impact algorithm controlling activation of an occupant safety device, detects an impact on the side of the vehicle and determines a magnitude of the impact, compares the magnitude of the impact with a threshold value established at least in part based upon the magnitude of the approach vector, and activates the occupant safety device if the magnitude of the impact exceeds the threshold value.

摘要： An adjustable length column pipe for connecting a submersible electric pump in a fuel storage tank with a distribution head that distributes the fuel to dispenser units. Two telescoping column pipes can be telescopically adjusted to the desired length and then locked together by a locking mechanism. An adapter bushing is threaded onto the end of the larger diameter pipe and has a projecting sleeve. A fitting is threaded onto the sleeve and tightened to compress a seal ring which seals the lock assembly to the pipe. Projecting fingers on the fitting are wedged against the smaller telescoping pipe by a nut which is threaded onto the fitting and has a tapered surface to provide progressive wedging action. Electrical wiring for operating the pump is contained within a telescoping conduit assembly which extends inside of the column pipes and is isolated from the fuel passageway by a seal arrangement.

One of the first, second and third yarns is a low-friction yarn, and two of the first, second and third yarns are high-friction yarns knitted to reside on and form the raised surface texture on the inner face of the anti-slip portion. A fabric construction and a method of forming a fabric construction are also disclosed.

The crash sensor system further including a controller configured to compare the received pressure signal against a predetermined pressure threshold. The controller also being configured to determine that a frontal impact crash has occurred when the pressure signal exceeds the predetermined pressure threshold.
