摘要： An RFID reader/writer antenna device is provided that includes a first radiating element, a second radiating element, a third radiating element, baluns, a phase shifter, and a distributor. The radiating elements each comprise conductor patterns with extending directions that are parallel to each other, and used for reading or writing of RFID tags. The distributor connects the first radiating element, the second radiating element, and the third radiating element to a common input/output. The phase shifter causes a feeding phase of the second radiating element and feeding phases of the first radiating element and the third radiating element to have a phase difference of 90°. The baluns perform conversion between a balanced signal and an unbalanced signal.

In certain embodiments, a system may include a flexible and thin polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate stack having a predetermined length. The system may include a printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication of one or more Leaky-Wave Antenna (LWA) structures on the PET substrate stack. The one or more LWA structures have a bent-stub folded LWA configuration have longitudinal asymmetry and transverse asymmetry for a broadside frequency. The bent-stub folded LWA configuration comprises a plurality of conductively unit cells having a unit cell period. Each unit cell of the plurality of conductively unit cells has a folded main feed-line and a bent stub pair with two angularly bent radiating stubs. Embodiments are structured to increase radiation per-unit length and suppress open stopband (OSB).

摘要： A compact planar balun formed on a substrate including a hairpin-shaped conductive microstrip and a single-ended contact. The hairpin-shaped conductive microstrip includes first and second linear segments integrally formed with a U-shaped segment, and a single-ended contact is conductively coupled at a location along the first linear segment. The first and second linear segments each have a first characteristic impedance and are in parallel with each other having a first end forming first and second differential contacts and having a second end. The U-shaped segment has a second characteristic impedance that is less than the first characteristic impedance in order to achieve proper scatter parameter alignment. The U-shaped segment may be generally formed thicker or wider than the linear segments to achieve a reduced characteristic impedance. In the alternative or in addition, co-planer ground metal is formed closer to the U-shaped segment to achieve a reduced characteristic impedance.

摘要： An inset type feed antenna structure is disclosed includes a substrate, a patterned conductive layer disposed on an upper surface of the substrate, and a grounding layer disposed on a lower surface of the substrate. The patterned conductive layer includes a conductive line and a plurality of radiation units, wherein each radiation units includes a conductive patch provided with a notch on one side thereof, and a feeding line electrically connecting the conductive line and the notch, wherein the feeding line is a quarter-wave feeding line. The present invention not only decreases the distance between the radiation units and the conductive line to control the vertical side lobes, but also increases the impedance of each radiation unit, so that more radiation units can be fed in.

A transmission range of the transmission wave transmitted from each of the first transmitting antenna, the second transmitting antenna, the third transmitting antenna and the fourth transmitting antenna partially overlaps with the transmission ranges of the transmission waves transmitted from the transmitting antennas located in vicinity.
