摘要： A digital broadcast system including a broadcast receiving system and data processing method are disclosed. In the broadcast receiving system receiving broadcast signals, the broadcast receiving system includes a transmission parameter decoding unit, a known sequence detector, and a burst controller. The transmission parameter decoding unit detects information on a burst of a received signal from broadcast data having main service data and mobile service data multiplexed therein within a field of the received signal and outputs the detected information on the burst. The known sequence detector receives burst information from the transmission parameter decoding unit and uses the received burst information and known data position information included in the received data, so as to output burst control information. The burst controller uses the burst control information to control power supply of the broadcast receiving system.

摘要： The invention relates to a transmitting system, comprising an SNS client that receives SNS messages from at least one SNS server, and a transmitter which transmits a broadcast signal, including the SNS messages and mobile service data, for a mobile broadcast. The transmitter includes: an RS frame encoder, which performs RS encoding and CRC encoding on the mobile service data for the mobile broadcast so as to build RS frames, and divides each RS frame into a plurality of portions; a group-forming unit, which forms data groups that contain each of the plurality of portions, and which adds known data sequences and signaling data to each data group; an inter-leaver for interleaving data of the data groups; and a trellis encoding unit for trellis-encoding the interleaved data.

摘要： A method is described for transmitting broadcast signals. First encoding of first broadcast service data is performed. Second encoding of the first encoded first broadcast service data is performed. The broadcast signals having the second encoded first broadcast service data multiplexed with second broadcast service data are transmitted. Each of the second encoded first broadcast service data and the second broadcast service data is allocated in a different data unit. The second encoded first broadcast service data and the second broadcast service data are allocated in different data units, respectively. Different robustness are allocated to the first broadcast service data and the second broadcast service data.

A second plurality of packets including error correction coding information for the audiovisual information may be generated. Control information for associating the error correction coding information with the audiovisual information may be generated, and a third plurality of packets including the control information may also be generated. The plurality of packets, including the first, second, and third pluralities of packets, may be transmitted to a mobile device in a wireless manner. The control information may inform the mobile device of the association of the first error correction coding information with the audiovisual information.

The first data structure may be modified to include information about the second control information. 摘要： A system uses multi-level encoding where each symbol of a plurality of symbols represents more than one bit of information in a user data symbol stream for transfer using a multilevel transmission channel. The user data symbols are represented in a digital bitwise form such that each symbol is presented as a plurality of bits and each bit is subject to a different probability of error. An error correction procedure is applied based on the different error probability that is associated with each bit in the plurality. The channel can be configured to support a mosaic tile structure, each tile containing a channel symbol such that a selected tile has a collective error probability that is different from other tiles. Customized coding can be applied to the tile structure to allocate a selected amount of error correction power to the selected tile based on an overall available correction power.

摘要： A digital broadcasting system and a method of processing data are disclosed. A receiving system of the digital broadcasting system may include a signal receiving unit, a demodulating unit, a demultiplexer, and an audio/video decoder. The signal receiving unit receives a broadcast signal including main service data and an RS frame including a plurality of MPH service data packets. The demodulating unit demodulates data of the RS frame. The demultiplexer identifies an MPH service data packet including an IP datagram of mobile service data with reference to an MPH header of each MPH service data packet in the RS frame, and when a stuffing data is inserted in the identified payload of MPH service data packet, removes the stuffing data from the payload and separates an audio and video data from IP datagram of the mobile service data of the payload, and outputs the separated audio and video data.

摘要： A digital broadcasting system and a data processing method are disclosed. A receiving system of the digital broadcasting system includes a receiving unit, an SI handler, and a decoding unit. The receiving unit receives broadcast signals including mobile service data and main service data. The mobile service data configure a data group, and the data group includes a signaling information region in some of a plurality of data regions. The signaling information region may include TPC signaling data and FIC signaling data. The SI handler acquires channel configuration information of the mobile service data from the broadcast signal using pre-decided IP access information, and extracts encoding format information for each IP stream component within a corresponding virtual channel service RTP-packetized and received from the acquired channel configuration information. The decoding unit decodes the mobile service data of the corresponding IP stream component based upon the extracted encoding format information.
