摘要： A process and a system are provided for controlling an addition of water to a rubber mixture during a mixing cycle in which the mixture is transported as a continuous sheet. The process includes obtaining data for the mixture, including a predetermined water flow rate, a predetermined air flow rate, and a target temperature and a target water content for the mixture; adding water to the continuous sheet during the mixing cycle; detecting an amount of water added at an elapsed time during the mixing cycle; determining, using a detection result, a predicted temperature and a predicted water content for the mixture at an end of the mixing cycle; comparing the target temperature with the predicted temperature, and the target water content with the predicted water content; and, before a next mixing cycle, adjusting an actual water flow rate when a comparison result indicates non-equivalence.

摘要： The extrusion of polymer compositions based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and in particular to a method in which polymer compositions are produced that have an elongation at break of at least 200%, a tensile strength of at least 10 N/mm2 with a specific energy input SEI of 0.03 to 0.20 kWh/kg and in particular 0.04 to 0.16 kWh/kg. The method is expediently carried out such that a plasticiser is added in a plurality of portions to the non-composed polyvinyl chloride and mixed into said polyvinyl chloride. The method thereby offers a fast and simple possibility of producing products from finished soft PVC, the production of said products requiring only a single processing device in the form of an extruder.

摘要： A process is provided for the preparation of dibasic propellant charge powder by a solvent-free process, in which a continuous flow of raw powder mixture moist with water is kneaded at an elevated temperature in a set of shearing rollers, to which the raw powder mixture is continuously supplied and at one end of which the gelatinized mass is continuously removed and immediately continuously granulated. The resulting granulate is continuously delivered to an extruder by means of which it is moulded into powder strands which are worked up into the finished powder by cutting and an end treatment. The process requires only small quantities of powder within the kneading equipment and thus provides a safe and efficient continuous manufacturing facility.

摘要： This invention relates to a self-contained, portable apparatus for admixing a plurality of liquids. The liquids, generally a diluent (such as water or an organic solvent), together with dilutable liquid chemical concentrates such as pesticides, fertilizers, and the like, are automatically proportioned and blended together to produce a resultant mixture, with controlled dispensing of the resultant mixture. The apparatus, which may be hand carried, is preferably powered by a battery source that is operatively connected to a positive-displacement pump. Such positive-displacement pump draws the liquids into the pump, utilizing the pump vacuum force, mixes the liquids in the pump chamber or housing, and thereafter discharges the resultant mixture from the apparatus, utilizing a suitable dispensing device.

摘要： An open mill or mixer for the processing of rubber and plastics comprises an additional or third roll for a higher productivity and, when upstream of the open mill a closed mixer is provided, for a readier cooling of the mixture. The two usual rolls are not placed at the same level, but one is slightly upper, while the third additional roll engages the lower one in the bottom part thereof. The angle formed by the lines joining the center of this latter with the centers of the other two rolls is comprised between 60.degree. and 120.degree. and is preferably of 80.degree.-90.degree.. Also the third roll is motor-driven, as well as the other two and has a higher peripheral speed than the roll which is wrapped up by the mix sheet and has the lower speed. The additional roll is provided with quick approachment means, such as cylinder and piston means, and fine adjustment means for adjusting its distance to the roll with which it is designed to engage, whereby when said approachment means is in a retracted position, the mixer conventionally operates with only two rolls.
