摘要： A pig diverter comprises a hollow housing having a flowline inlet port, a flowline outlet port, a pig entry opening, and a pig exit opening, all communicating with the interior of the housing. A tubular pig holder enclosed by the housing is pivotable between a receiving position and a launching position. In the receiving position, the pig holder is aligned with the pig entry opening to receive a pig and effects fluid communication between the pig entry opening and the flowline outlet port. In the launching position, the pig holder is aligned with the pig exit opening to launch a pig and effects fluid communication between the flowline inlet port and the pig exit opening.

A cell not including the purge function is easily changed to a cell that includes the purge function. The stocker includes a frame to which multiple cell supports not including a cleaning gas supplying nozzle are configured to be attached along the vertical direction or the horizontal direction, and the base of a stocker unit is attached to the frame. The stocker unit includes a pipe configured to supply cleaning gas that is provided along the base, and multiple cell supports including the purge function that are attached to the base and are aligned along the vertical direction or the horizontal direction. Each cell support preferably is configured to support a container and includes a nozzle configured to supply cleaning gas from the pipe to the container.

The screw conveyor comprises an elongate trough assembly comprising material input and output gates formed thereon and an elongate screw flighting rotably disposed within the trough assembly. The flighting comprises an elongate hollow shaft comprising a plurality of thorough fluid holes disposed thereon, a proximal end of the shaft adapted to receive a fluid therethrough whereby, the received fluid is discharged from the plurality of fluid holes, and a pair of parallel blades helically wound around the shaft, the blades arranged such that, the fluid holes are disposed between the blades. The fluid is discharged from between the blades forms a pressurized shield between the outer edges of blades and the inner surface of the trough assembly so as to prevent the material from entering the space between the edges of the blades and the inner surface of the trough assembly.

摘要： A system and method for sanitizing pneumatic conveying piping is provided. The system includes a motorized hose reel with a pig attached to the end of the hose. The pig is smaller in diameter than the inner diameter of the pipe through which it is conveyed. The decreased size of the pig keeps the conveying speed of the pig through the pipes down, while at the same time providing sufficient force to pull the supply hose attached to the pig through the pipes with the pig. The pig of some embodiments of the inventive concept is shaped as a hollow cone or frustoconical shape. Such a shape reduces weight of the pig and also allows the hose to be inserted through the body of the pig with a spray nozzle at the end. The hollow cone shape deflects relatively easily to allow the pig to go around corners or other obstructions. Also, such a pig design automatically centers the nozzle within the pipe during spraying. The pig of some embodiments is further made of a urethane material that is easily washable and non-porous to maximize sanitary conditions.

The bulk material handling accessory includes a main frame, a scraping member including an arm and a scraper blade pivotally attached to the main frame, and a damper mechanism coupled at one end to the main frame and at another end to the scraping member. A mounting mechanism is attached to the main frame for providing linear and rotational movement of the main frame and the associated scraping member and damper mechanism. The damper mechanism includes a damper having a piston and a housing having a fluid chamber. The viscosity of the fluid within the fluid chamber is selectively changeable to change the damping characteristics of the damper mechanism to accommodate changes in operating conditions.
