摘要： In thread cutting mechanism portions of a lower thread winding device, two groove portions of an inner threading groove portion and an outer threading groove portion are formed on a holder. In the inner threading groove portion, one end portion is opened to one of an intersecting direction intersecting with a radial direction of the holder at an outer peripheral portion of the holder and another end portion is located at an inner side of a small-diameter bobbin in the radial direction. The outer threading groove portion is located at an outer side of the inner threading groove portion in the radial direction of the holder. In the outer threading groove portion, one end portion is communicated with the inner threading groove portion and located at the outer side of a large-diameter bobbin in the radial direction and another end portion is located at the inner side of the large-diameter bobbin in the radial direction.

A coating member of a liquid crystal polymer is integrally molded to the outer surface of the track projection portion so as to have a thickness t which is selected to be 0.3 to 0.5 mm. A part of the coating member is fitted into a groove formed in the track projection portion, thereby preventing the member from peeling off. In a loop spreading portion, the track projection portion made of steel is exposed from the coating member so that a so-called thread handing area is prevented from being formed. Therefore, wear resistance and durability are improved.

摘要： A bobbin-thread supply device for a sewing machine. The operator inserts the bobbin into the bobbin holder, draws bobbin thread from the bobbin, and passes the tip of the bobbin thread through the slit in the cover above the bobbin holder. Since the slit in the cover extends above where the tension bracket is joined onto the tension spring, the bobbin thread is guided between the tension bracket and the tension spring through the tension regulating portion. The bobbin thread can thus easily be set with appropriately tension applied thereon. At the same time, the length of the bobbin thread can be adjusted for proper sewing operation.
