摘要： A cascade of safety switches includes safety switches for the monitoring of accesses of an automation system, at least one connection unit for the arrangement between two safety switches, and a terminator for the termination of the cascade of safety switches. Each safety switch has a first conductor and a second conductor. The first conductor includes conductor cores for transmitting signals and for receiving voltage. The second conductor includes conductor cores for receiving signals and for forwarding the voltage. The connection unit has a first circuit and a second circuit. The first circuit is provided for receiving the signals of a subsequent safety switch and for forwarding the signals of the subsequent safety switch to an upstream safety switch and the second circuit is provided for connecting the connection unit to a voltage source and to a conductor core for receiving the voltage of the subsequent safety switch.

The VDS interlock assembly is movable between a CBA, first lockout position, wherein a CBA second contact assembly cannot move when a VDS second contact assembly is in a first position, and a VDS, second lockout position, wherein a VDS second contact assembly cannot move when the CBA second contact assembly is in a second position. Further, the VDS interlock assembly is placed in an open position in between where the CBA, first lockout position and the VDS, second lockout position; from the open position the VDS interlock assembly may be moved into one of the CBA, first lockout position or the VDS, second lockout position.

摘要： A power strip having two or more powers strips daisy chained together where each of the two or more power strips include a sequence control module operable to sequentially activate and/or deactivate the outlets, thereby powering up or powering down each outlet separately across the two or more power strips. A pre-determined time delay, that can be set by a user, occurs between the activation and/or deactivation of the outlets. The sequence control module of each power strip is operatively coupled to the sequence control module of the subsequent next power strip so that one power strip can be used to trigger activation of the next power strip.

摘要： A drive circuit for a DC latching device includes a battery, a storage element, and a plurality of switches connecting the battery to the storage element for charging the storage element from the battery and discharging the storage element into the coil of a DC latching device. The drive circuit further includes components for determining a state of the DC latching device. The drive circuit may include components for terminating the discharge of the storage element into the coil of the DC latching device in response to determining that the DC latching device has changed states to add reliability to the system and reduce energy consumption.
