A liquid soap dispenser for dispensing repeated doses of liquid soap from an associated cartridge with a compressible outlet nipple without collapsing the side walls of the cartridge, the cartridge includes a blow molded thin walled plastic container with an externally threaded neck for connection to the compressible nipple and a wall. A receptacle is positioned in the wall of the cartridge having an aperture therein, and a plastic filter is in the receptacle having a sealing mechanism connected thereto movable between a sealing position wherein the sealing mechanism seals the aperture and a filtering position wherein the sealing mechanism is away from the aperture and the filter is in contact with the aperture establishing an air path between the inside and outside of the cartridge. The filter having an average pore diameter of about 0.25 microns and is compressed within the receptacle such that upon repeated activation of said pump member the vacuum inside said cartridge does not exceed 12" of water.

An engine heater for heating cooling liquid in a relatively narrow coolant hose (11) in an internal combustion engine comprises an electric heating element (13) and a house (27, 21) of metal having a body of a large inner diameter. The house comprises narrow connector nipples (25, 35) adapted to the hose and the active part of the heating element is located inside the body. A lid (21) is sealingly attached to one end of the body and carries one of the nipples. The other end of the body has a tapered shape and carries at it outermost end the other nipple. The outermost portion of the heating element can be bent to a hook in order to increase the active part of the element or the length of the element that is located inside the body, and not to give all of the heater a not too great total length. For this structure the heating element will be located only adjacent to metal parts and can therefor be supplied with high power and provide a rapid heating without obtaining thereby any damage to the coolant hose. The heater has a simple structure and can be easily manufactured.

The invention is characterized in that the closing cap includes a rim (3a) and a closed-bottom plug portion (5) that in the closed position of the closing cap extends into the void interior of the base (4) of the pacifier so as to occupy a major volume in pacifier interior space and, simultaneously, to prevent the dosed agent from escaping from the interior space of the nipple portion (6) of the pacifier toward the base (4) of the pacifier.
