PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a waste of an ink by minimizing an adherence of the ink to a doctor blade without scraping down excess ink out of a printing plate by the blade in the case of accurately offset printing in a high minuteness. SOLUTION: In the method for offset printing comprising the steps of bringing a printing plate 2 or a matter 10 to be printed detachably placed on a printing table 1 forward fed in a rotating direction of a blanket cylinder 3 into contact with a rotating surface of a blanket 4 mounted on the cylinder 3, then receiving an ink pattern from the plate 2 to the blanket 4, and transferring the pattern from the blanket 4 to the matter 10, thereby forming a printed matter; an ink is supplied to the plate 2, and doctoring directions of doctor blades 9a, 9b to the plate 2 are alternately reversed in the case of filling the ink in a recess part of the plate 2 by the blades 9a, 9b at a previous stage of supplying the plate 2 to the table 1.
108 INTAGLIO OFFSET PRINTING JP15366695 1995-06-20 JPH091773A 1997-01-07 INOUE KOJI
PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of printing properties without impairing mass productivity of intaglio offset printing. CONSTITUTION: After dropping ink 7 on an intaglio 1 by using a dispenser or the like, the ink is uniformly filled in an intaglio cell la formed in a required pattern and depth with a squeegee. Then, a roll is rolled on the intaglio to transfer the ink 7 from the intaglio. At that time, a part of the ink is of a state of remaining in the intaglio cell 1a (a residue of the ink 8). Though the intaglio cell is uniformly filled by adding freshly new ink in that state, since drying of the remaining ink gradually advances, printing properties are gradually deteriorated. In order to prevent that, after removing thoroughly the remained ink 8 in the intaglio cell 1a with a rubber squeegee of urethane or the like as component, when printing is carried out by filling new ink 7, fine pattern printing of excellent printing properties can be carried out.

Also, the scraping mechanism 15 is composed of a doctor 21 being in press contact with the plate 9, an adjusting member 22 provided on the movable body 13 for adjustably controlling press contact forces of the doctor 21, and an attaching member 23 for detachably attaching the doctor 21 to the adjusting member 22 through an operation at a touch.
110 METHOD FOR PRINTING USING FLAT SHEET-LIKE INTAGLIO AND APPARATUS USED FOR THE METHOD FOR PRINTING JP10218194 1994-04-15 JPH07285211A 1995-10-31 OYAMA NOBUHITO
PURPOSE:To prevent a doctor blade from being abraded and eliminate occurrence of defective printing in staining and unevenness by scraping an ink by sliding the doctor blade while the blade is displaced in the longitudinal direction of the blade. CONSTITUTION:When a doctor blade is displaced in the longitudinal direction of the blade, in the case (1), the locus of a point where the blade is located is made L by displacing the doctor blade in the upper direction. In addition, in the case (2), the doctor blade is displaced in the lower direction to make the locus of the point where the blade is located L2. It may be possible that the displacement of the doctor blade is done alternately in both end directions of the longitudinal direction to make the locus into a zigzag shape, but it is pref. that for one ink scraping operation, the blade is displaced only in either one direction of the longitudinal direction of the blade. In addition, it is pref. that the doctor blade is slided in such a way that the locus of the surface of the lithographic intaglio is made a curved-shape.

115 Gravure printing method JP15096084 1984-07-20 JPS6129544A 1986-02-10 TSURUSAKI MASAO
PURPOSE:To conduct gravure printing having excellent quality by using two doctor blades, supplying both doctor blades with ink and transferring ink sufficiently filled into a cell as complete dots. CONSTITUTION:Doctor blades 7, 10 are lowered to the surface of a printing plate 2, on which ink 1 is applied, and brought into pressure-contact with the plate 2, and slid to the plate 2 at some angle during a time when a moving base 5 is moved to the right, and the inside of a cell 3 is filled sufficiently with ink 1 and a printer's proof is conducted. When the moving base 5 is returned to the left, both doctor blades 7, 10 are lifted, and are not slid to the plate surface 2. Accordingly, the two doctor blades 7, 10 are supplied with ink 1, and the inside of the cell 3 is filled enough with ink 1, thus obtaining the printer's proof of an excellent deep plate.
