A global navigation satellite sensor system (GNSS) and gyroscope control system for vehicle steering control comprising a GNSS receiver and antennas at a fixed spacing to determine a vehicle position, velocity and at least one of a heading angle, a pitch angle and a roll angle based on carrier phase position differences. The system also includes a control system configured to receive the vehicle position, heading, and at least one of roll and pitch, and configured to generate a steering command to a vehicle steering system. The system includes gyroscopes for determining system attitude change with respect to multiple axes for integrating with GNSS-derived positioning information to determine vehicle position, velocity, rate-of-turn, attitude and other operating characteristics. Relative orientations and attitudes between motive and working components can be determined using optical sensors and cameras. The system can also be used to guide multiple vehicles in relation to each other.

10 Mounting arrangement for timepiece or the like GB9908413 1999-04-14 GB2348795A 2000-10-18 WHEELER RICHARD JAMES
A mounting arrangement for a timepiece or the like (W) on a handlebar (3) comprises a generally cylindrical shell (10) attached to the timepiece and an internally threaded ratchet member (20) held within the shell and screwable onto a lower fixed mounting part (2). Clockwise rotation is transmitted by sets of interengageing tangs (7) which are inclined towards each other; these allow the orientation of the timepiece to be varied by anticlockwise rotation, when they ride over each other. The upper part (1) can be unscrewed by pressing it downwardly to engage sets of projections (5, 6) on facing annular surfaces of the shell (10) and ratchet member (20) respectively. The arrangement is resistant to vibration.

16 Improvements relating to the shafts of horse-drawn vehicles GB1761922 1922-06-27 GB204381A 1923-09-27
204,381. Goodwin, L. A. June 27, 1922. Rest-bars for the shafts of horse-drawn vehicles comprise resilient depending frames carrying wheels at their lower ends normally out of contact with the ground. The frames consist of a pair of members b telescoping over or within a wheel carrying member c which is forced downwards by means of springs d. The members b are secured to the shaft a by bolts or, as shown, their ends f may be squared to engage sockets g, disengagement being prevented by a toggle member h the joint j of which is held rigid by a sliding sleeve k. According to the Provisional Specification, the shafts may also be supported by detachable stays connecting the shafts to the front portion of the vehicle. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 2537/83 and 16708/95.
17 Improvements in Tug Chains, Chain Traces, and other Chains and Chain Cables. GB191327565D 1913-12-01 GB191327565A 1914-12-01 WHEWAY SYDNEY BENJAMIN
27,565. Wheway, S. B., [trading as Wheway & Son, J.]. Dec. 1. Connexions and attachments applicable generally for tensile and compressive springs.- Relates to spring links for tug chains, chain traces, cart and plough traces, and hame-tug chains, and consists in arranging a pair of headed studs within each end of a coiled spring mounted within or around the links, the pull of the chain being transmitted through the studs when they come together, and the heads of the studs being shaped to provide seats and guides for the ends of the links. Fig. 1 shows one construction in which a compression spring c is arranged between abutments d within the links b, b<2> of the chain. The abutments d are formed with studs d<1> which occupy the greater part of the interior of the spring, and with seating and guiding grooves d<2>, d<3> for the links. Fig. 6 shows an alternative construction in which the spring is arranged outside the links b, b<2>, these links being permanently engaged with flat abutments d, and being guided partly by the spring c and partly by the flat faces of the abutments.
