The invention discloses a gas flow reverse control method of the ventilation air methane thermal oxidation device of coal mines, belonging to the technical field of ultra-low concentration methane hot reverse flow oxidation. The gas flow reverse control method is characterized in that programmable controllers use data acquired by a plurality of thermoelectric couples which are uniformly distributed along the direction of gas flow in a central area of an oxidation bed and the data of two thermoelectric couples which are distributed at an inlet and an outlet of the two ends of the oxidation bedto calculate the area length of the temperature of more than or equal to 900 DEG C in the central area of the oxidation bed according to a formula: Sigma xilT is more than or equal to 900 DEG C, calculate the line heat storage capacity of the central area of the oxidation bed according to the formula, calculate the temperature difference of gas of the inlet and the outlet of the oxidation bed, and judge whether the direction is reversed according to the calculated result, and if needed, the programmable controller outputs signals to a reversing valve and switches the direction of gas flow. Compared with the prior art, the gas flow reverse control method changes the original fixed period gas flow reversing into dynamic gas flow reversing, improves methane oxidation rate and automatic operating stability of an oxidation device and reduces the energy taken away by exhausted gas of the oxidation device.
