    • The replaceable, outside-in flow filter element with integral annular trap provides a simple, efficient, tubular filter element that combines the advantages of inside out-flow and outside-in flow filters. The element includes end caps with pleated filter media extending there between. A solid tube is secured between the end caps in a position spaced radially outward from the media. The annular space between the media and the tube forms an integral, lateral, outer trap for containing filtered out particulate matter. The trap allows the particulate to be removed with the used filter element during conventional replacement. The inlet end cap includes openings spaced from an end of the filter media whereby a portion of the openings overlap the media in plan view such that inflow through this overlapping portion of the openings will flow radial outward in the space between the openings and the filter media to the annular space.

    • The present invention is an improved compound bow. In particular the present invention is directed to an adjustable compound bow for hunting and archery with noise reduction features. The preferred embodiment of the bow comprises a riser having a main riser length with two ends, each end attached to an adjustable hub with a limb base. Each limb base preferably has a pocketless flat surface with vibration dampening material. Each hub is secured to the main riser length by an adjustment screw and a hub pivot. A limb is preferably secured to each limb base at two points on the pocketless flat surface. A bowstring is strung under tension between the limbs. The bowstring's tension can be adjusted by adjusting the adjustable hubs with the adjustment screws. The bow preferably has a storage position and an in-use position caused by rotating the limbs around the adjustable hubs. Adjustment of the bow can be accomplished without use of a bow press.

    • The present invention involves several different embodiments related to a crossover switching valve. The crossover switching valve is preferably designed to receive fluid from a reservoir, or other fluid source, and direct the inflow and outflow of the fluid between the valve and one or more pumps. In one embodiment, the valve is configured to provide a substantially continuous flow rate when used in connection with a double acting pump. In another embodiment, the valve preferably includes an inflow port, an outflow port, and first and second ports configured to be fluidly connected to at least one pump. Another embodiment of the present invention is a conduit that preferably provides fluid communication between the first and second ports. Yet another embodiment is a fluid director that is preferably configured to alter flow of fluid through the conduit. In some embodiments, the inflow port is in fluid communication with the first port while the outflow port is in fluid communication with the second port. In other embodiments, the inflow port is in fluid communication with the second port while the outflow port is in fluid communication with the first port. Also disclosed is a pumping system that incorporates the crossover switching valve and a pump.

    • A power converter capable of receiving either an AC input voltage or a DC input voltage and generating a programmable DC output voltage. The converter comprises a first circuit that converts an AC input voltage to a predetermined DC first output voltage, and a second circuit that converts a DC input voltage to a predetermined second DC output voltage. The converter also comprise a third circuit which is adapted to receive the first and second DC voltages from first and second circuits to generate a selectable output DC voltage. In selected embodiments, the first and second DC output voltages provided by the first and second circuits, respectively, are generally the same value and are coupled to a common node that feeds the input terminal of the third circuit. Moreover, the third circuit is adapted to provide a selectable output DC voltage which may be set higher or lower than its DC input voltage. The third circuit may also be adapted to couple a set of removable programming keys that provide for a different associated DC output voltage. The programming key comprises a resistor, which may provide for a variety of functions, such as current-limiting, over-voltage protection, output voltage programming, and wrong-tip circuit protection.
