    • A system is disclosed for producing images representing radiation dose distribution in order to verify the radiation dose applied to a large area. The system uses a phantom assembly (10) constructed of material that is radiological equivalent to live tissue. The phantom assembly has slits (32, 34 and 36) where radiation sensitive film can be inserted and can include a channel for an insertable radiation generating device (20). The treatment dose is then applied to the phantom and the radiation sensitive film records the dose. A CCD camera microdensitometer is then used to read the exposed radiation sensitive film. The CCD camera microdensitometer includes a computer system which processes the image to remove artifacts and generates isodose contours for the radiation treatment applied. In addition, several pieces of radiation sensitive film in different planes can be exposed and processed in order to produce images representing the radiation dose distribution in three dimensions.

A film for measuring a radiation amount is attached on an outer surface of the inner circular phantom, thereby measuring the radiation amount.

      상기와 같이 이루어지는 본 발명의 장기모사 팬텀을 갖는 팬텀장치는, 원하는 패턴의 움직임을 얼마든지 구현할 수 있으므로, 환자 체내의 방사선 조사 대상부위가 호흡에 따라 움직이는 장기(臟器)에 위치하더라도 해당 부위의 선량분포를 정확하게 파악할 수 있어, 방사선 치료 장비의 정확한 정도관리를 통해 치료효과를 높일 수 있다.

    • A phantom device having an organ copying phantom is provided to improve a treatment efficiency by accurately performing a quality assurance of a radioactive medical device. A phantom device includes a phantom(23), an elevating unit, and a horizontal transfer unit. The phantom receives a radioactive ray from a radioactive ray emitter and includes a simulation member(23e) of an inner organ. The elevating unit is arranged under the phantom and relatively moves the phantom with respect to the radioactive ray emitter. The elevating unit includes a worm shaft(33), a worm wheel(35), and a driven screw(41). A gear groove is formed on the worm wheel which is driven by an axial rotation. A female screw thread is formed on the worm wheel. The gear groove is mated with a worm in the worm shaft. The driven screw is mated with the female screw thread and elevates the phantom. The horizontal transfer unit is coupled with the elevating unit and moves the phantom in a horizontal direction.
