    • PURPOSE:To save labour in replacing a slitter cutter, by enabling the cutter or the like to easily move along an arbor, under the switching operation of the inclined condition of a cam plate and the reciprocating drive operation of a movable bed and an arm. CONSTITUTION:A cutter or the like may be easily moved along an arbor 4 under the switching operation of the inclined condition of a cam plate 31 and the reciprocating drive operation of a movable bed 16 and an arm 14 by means of a push button switch, a foot-operated switch or the like. The arm 14 is directly fitted into a guide 12 in a round rod-like shape so that the arm 14 is slidable and as well swingable. With this arrangement, the device is simple in its construction and may be incorporated in a narrow space.

    • PURPOSE:To improve productivity of a slitter by constituting a slitter in such a way that each set of slit dies is equipped on both side of a rotary shaft symmetrically, while one set of slit dies is on stand-by, another one performs slitting, and the former one performs another slitting with the slitting position turned. CONSTITUTION:Die assembly composed of one set of slit dies 3 and 4 and one set of slit dies 4 and 5 are symmetrically arranged between the frames 2 and 2 which are mounted on a rotary shaft 1 and can be rotated with the shaft 1. Each set of slit dies is set to slit a belt shaped material with required widths. While one set of dies slits the material at a slitting position, another set of slit dies is placed at a stand-by position. The replacement of a set of slit dies is performed by turning the frames 2 and 2 at 180 deg.. Therefore, slit dies can be replaced in short time improving the productivity of a slitter.
