    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory device which does not need lock strength and is simple in structure by holding the backrest angle of a seat back with the lock strength of a reclining device.
      SOLUTION: The reclining structure has the memory device 20 for storing a hold position of the backrest angle of the seat back 20 by the reclining device 10 and operating so as to return the tilted seat back 2 from the hold position to a hold position before tilt. The reclining device 10 tiltably joins the seat back 2 to a seat cushion 3 and can be switched between a locked state for locking a tilting movement of the seat back 2 and a permitted unlocked state. In the locked state, the reclining device has lock strength necessary to hold the backrest angle accompanying the seat back 2 being used when a user sits down. The memory device 20 is juxtaposed to the reclining device 10 to join the seat back 2 and the seat cushion 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat operating device and a vehicle seat reclining device capable of reducing excess operation force of an operation lever and improving operability.
      SOLUTION: A lever member 31 has a first oblong hole 38a extending in a direction in which a guide part 37 provided to an arm member 33 is relatively moved accompanying the operation of a memory operation lever and a second oblong hole 38b extending from the end part of the first oblong hole 38a. A locking mechanism is switched from a locked state to an unlocked state by the relative movement of the guide part 37 in the first oblong hole 38a, and the unlocked state of the locking mechanism is maintained by the positioning of the guide part 37 at the second oblong hole 38b. For the guide part 37, energizing force is imparted in the extending direction of the second oblong hole 38b by an energizing means for bringing a seat back to the most front. For the second oblong hole 38b, a pressurizing part 38c on which the guide part 37 is to be abutted to generate component force in the direction of switching the locking mechanism to the unlocked state is formed.
