摘要： The invention is an apparatus for applying a tensioned elastic ribbon or ribbons transversely of a moving web of material. It is particularly well adapted for applying elastic to the waist zones of disposable diapers moving continuously in an end-to-end assembly. The apparatus (20) has a supporting frame (22) with a shaft (28) providing an axis of rotation for at least one rotatable radial arm (44). A polygonal head (40) is mounted at the end of each arm. This has a number of peripheral edges with clamps or vacuum orifices (136) for holding a tensioned strand or strands of elastic ribbon (48). A drive rotates the radial arms (44,45) and a rotating mechanism moves the heads (360/n)° for each full rotation of the radial arms (44,45) where n is equal to the number of peripheral faces on the head. An anvil (30) acts against the head at the time of application of the tensioned elastic to the moving web. The web is passed between the head and the anvil along a path describing a chord or tangent of the circle of rotation of the radial arms.

摘要： A hole puncher and reinforcer for locating a length of adhesive tape in overlying relation to a sheet of paper, for punching a hole in the tape and paper, and for shearing and pressing the tape in position as a reinforcement for the punched holes. The device includes a plurality of spaced apart first disks operative to engage the adhesive side of the tape and pull it off a supply roll. A similar set of disks rotatable at a peripheral speed faster than that of the first disks engages the tape and directs it through a tape feed passage defined in part by thin fingers. The placement and rotation of the two sets of disks, and the presence of the fingers, enables advancement of the tape to the punch, shear and pressure mechanism without sticking or gumming.

摘要： U7 Eine Vielzahl von Verpackungen mit einer aufzureißenden Umhüllung ist mit sogenannten Aufreißbändchen versehen, die an der Umhüllung angebracht sind und diese durch Ziehen des Aufreißbändchens teilen. Das Aufbringen des Aufreißbändchens auf eine Folienbahn für die Herstellung der Umhüllung ist bei hoher Leistung einer Verpackungsmaschine schwierig, da im Moment der Übertragung eines Aufreißbändchens an die Folie bzw. Folienbahn diese stillstehen, im Anschluß daran aber mit hoher Geschwindigkeit weitertransportiert werden muß. Die Erfindung befaßt sich mit einem Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung für die Durchführung der ungleichförmigen Bewegung (Förderung) der Folienbahn in vorstehendem Sinne und mit dem Aufbringen des Aufreißbändchens auf die Folienbahn.
Diese ungleichförmige Bewegung wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Einschlagmaterialbahn (10) außerhalb eines Übertragungsabschnittes (12) über Umlenkorgane, insbesondere Umlenkwalzen (17,18) geführt ist, die derart hin- und her bewegbar sind, daß im Moment der Übertragung des Bändchens mindestens der Übertragungsabschnitt (12) der Einschlagmaterialbahn (10) ruht.
