摘要： Molding apparatus and method for molding of features integral with a base, such as in the production of fastener elements for hook-and-loop type touch fasteners, e.g. by the Fischer process, employs a mold roll (1) formed of rings (9) that have coolant passages (22) formed within the ring components (9) themselves for substantially direct contact with cooling liquid. Axial tie rods (16) compress the mold rings (9) together, contributing to the sealing of the coolant passages and the stiffness of the mold roll. Other sealing means (30) are disclosed. Mold cavities (2), including cavities (2) used for injection molding, and cooling passages (22) formed in either mold rings (9) or injection mold plates by photo-chemical etching, laser machining and other techniques are disclosed. Various machines and methods taking unique advantage of these feature are disclosed, including ring alignment methods.

The magnet assembly tool (50) has a firstportion (52) with a diameter of approximately the diameter of thechamber less the width of the annular magnet and a second portion(54) with a diameter of approximately the width of the chamber. Therefore a gap (64) is formed between the outer wall (24) of the chamber and the first portion of the magnet assembly tool when the tool is inserted in the chamber. The annular magnet is positioned into the gap, and an adhesive is applied to adhere the magnet to the outer wall of the chamber. The pole piece is assembled using a pole piece assembly tool (70).

摘要： A screening means for a vessel for treating chips, having a screening body and a screw rotating therein. According to the invention the screening body has support rings (15) with radial recesses (16) to receive screening bars (8), the width of each recess being adjusted to the thickness of the screening bar (8) for play free assembly of the screening bar in the recess. The screening bars (8) are welded to the support rings (15). A method and device for manufacturing the screening body are characterized in that two assembly fixtures (20, 21) are used which are coupled together after assembling a first screening body section in the first assembly fixture (20) with the aid of support ring segments (27) which are fixed by spacers (26). The assembly and coupling together are repeated until the second assembly fixture (21), which is in the form of a drum (40), is entirely surrounded by screening bar sections. Before welding the drum (40) and the screening bars (8) retained by the drum (40) are surrounded by clamping rings (70) so that the support ring segments (27) of one and the same ring (15) are drawn together around the drum (40) which is entirely circular round.
