    • A tank venting, pressure and temperature relieving, and spill preventing valve for fuel tanks. The valve has a spin chamber (94), having generally circular cross sections and at least one side wall inlet opening (106) that is tangentially directed with respect to the circumferences of the cross sections. There is a circular outlet (80) at a normally upper and open end of the chamber. The chamber cross sections decrease in diameter upwardly of the inlet opening to below the outlet opening whereby gas venting through the chamber spins a light weight, buoyant ball (90) around the chamber so as to prevent the ball from closing during venting. The ball valve is adapted to be lifted to seat (88) on the outlet to close it when liquid enters the chamber to a predetermined level. A heavy ball (92) in the chamber holds the light weight valve ball on the seat when the chamber has been tilted a predetermined amount. There is a second heavy ball (84) externally of the chamber adjacent the outlet opening and adapted to move the light weight valve ball off the seat when the liquid is below a predetermined level and the chamber is not tilted, so that the outlet will be open for venting.

    • A safety valve (100) for pressure equalisation between a closed space and the environment is disclosed. The valve comprises a first valve for relief of overpressure and a second valve for relief of negative pressure, an enclosing, elongated housing (5, 10, 28) having a first end with an opening in communication with the closed space, and a second end having an outlet opening (3) for the first valve, and at least one inlet opening (36) to the second valve is provided in the housing wall, and a flow optimised drop configured body (1) is provided in the outlet opening (3) for the first valve, said drop configured body (1) is connected via a rod (4) to an underneath located pressure weight (6) constituting a valve body within the housing and which, when the valve is not pressure equalising, is abutting a valve seat (9) provided within the housing. The housing (5, 10, 28) is flow optimised configured towards the outlet opening (3) in that the housing is continuous tapering towards the contact surface (3a) of the outlet opening (3) against the drop configured body (1). The drop configured body (1) has controlled, axially freedom of motion in respect of the rod (4) and the pressure weight (6).
