摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screwdriver capable of deciding the limit torque with a high accuracy, composed of a less number of component parts, and not generating vibration and shocks in/to the shank in its axial direction. SOLUTION: The torque-limited screwdriver is configured so that the shank is supported in the axial direction in such a way as directly abutting to the upper inside of the grip and that a releasing mechanism is furnished with a cogged surface working in interactions with a splined cylinder in tubular shape pressed upward by the force of a spring, wherein the force of the releasing mechanism is decided by the spring as a whole irrespective of the thrust force on the shaft.

The relative positions of the both engagement members 13, 14 are decided by a roller 22. The connecting bolts 17, 18 are provided with a head, three cylindrical connecting surfaces, and a screw part. The both engagement members 13, 14 are provided with a pair of projections which are mutually extended as forming a uniform-width slot therebetween and stacked with each other and a cylindrical roller 22 is arranged in the slot.

SOLUTION: A hand saw comprises a saw body 1 having teeth, a handle having the connection part 4 of the saw body, and a slender grip part which extends at an obtuse angle to the connecting part and becomes shorter than the saw body at a work position. The grip part constitutes a constitution part 12 for protecting a frame 11 and the teeth and is articulated with the free end of the constitution part, and the constitution part can 180 deg. expand/contract to the frame. In the frame 11 and the constitution part, there are gaps which can house the teeth 3 of the saw body 1 and extend. Since the hinge 7 of the saw body 1 is separated from the slender upper side part of the frame 11, when the slender upper side part of the saw body 1 is folded into the constitution part 12 in which the saw body protects the teeth, a part of the short part of the teeth 3 is arranged to be exposed.
