    • The invention relates to a device (1) for biostimulating phototherapy, in particular in conjunction with a therapy apparatus (50). The device comprises at least one first light-emitting unit (4.1, 4.2) for directly and/or indirectly applying light of a first wavelength to at least one part of a human or animal body, and a control unit (2) for outputting application routines. The device also comprises a module interface (3.1, 3.2) for operatively connecting the control unit to the at least one first light-emitting unit (4.1, 4.2), and a core interface (5) for operative connection to a therapy apparatus (50). The control unit (2) is designed such that it is able to receive data via the core interface (5) and, on the basis of these data, is able to control the output of an application routine via the module interface (3.1, 3.2). The invention also relates to a therapy apparatus fitted with the device according to the invention, for physical treatment of a patient using supplementary biostimulating phototherapy, to a method for operating a device according to the invention and to a computer program product for executing this method.

    • The present invention relates to a device for an application of directed actinic radiation to a subject, said device comprising: an exposition tunnel being capable of surrounding said subject to be exposed to said actinic radiation and being formed of one semi-cylinder barrel-shape first surface made of a material substantially permeable to said actinic radiation, and of at least one second surface made of said material substantially permeable to said actinic radiation and capable of complementing the first surface in forming said exposition tunnel; the surfaces of said exposition tunnel separating an inner space where said subject is exposed to said actinic radiation, from outer spaces where a plurality of radiation sources capable of emitting actinic radiation through said surfaces are mounted; said first and second parts of the chassis of the device being configured to complement each other in forming the outer shape of the device; said device further comprising at least one further outer space separated from said inner space and located at either one or both of the longitudinal ends of the exposition tunnel, said at least one further outer space housing a plurality of additional radiation sources configured to emit radiation, wherein at least one of the radiation sources and the additional radiation sources comprise at least one reflector or a plurality of reflectors. An improved device distinguishes in that at least one of the radiation sources and the additional radiation sources comprise LEDs or a plurality of LEDs, and that the at least one reflector or the plurality of reflectors collimate the radiation emitted by said at least one of the radiation sources and the additional radiation sources.

    • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) zur biostimulierenden Phototherapie,insbesondere in Verbindung mit einem Therapiegerät (50). Die Vorrichtung umfasst mindestens eine erste Lichtemissionseinheit (4.1, 4.2) zur direkten und/oder indirekten Beaufschlagung mindestens eines Teils eines menschlichen oder tierischen Körpers mit Licht einer ersten Wellenlänge, und eine Steuerungseinheit (2) zur Ausgabe von Beaufschlagungsroutinen. Die Vorrichtung umfasst weiter eine Modul-Schnittstelle (3.1,3.2) zur Wirkverbindung der Steuerungseinheit mit der mindestens einen erste Lichtemissionseinheit (4.1, 4.2), sowie eine Kern-Schnittstelle (5) zur Wirkverbindung mit einem Therapiegerät (50). Sie Steuerungseinheit (2) ist so ausgelegt, dass sie Daten über die Kern-Schnittstelle (5) zu empfangen, und in Abhängigkeit dieser Daten die Ausgabe einer Beaufschlagungsroutine über die Modul-Schnittstelle (3.1, 3.2) zusteuern vermag. Die Erfindung betrifft weiter ein mit der erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung ausgestattetes Therapiegerät zur physikalischen Behandlung eines Patienten mit ergänzender biostimulierender Phototherapie, sowie ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung und ein Computerprogrammprodukt zur Ausführung dieses Verfahrens.

    • The present invention relates to a radiation-emitting device (100), comprising at least one radiation source (110) configured to emit radiation of at least one wavelength towards a target (190) or towards a subject (192); at least one space or surface (140) configured to place the target (190) or the subject (192) therein or thereon; at least one means (185) configured to control the at last one radiation source's radiation emission towards the target (190) or towards the subject (192); wherein the radiation-emitting device (100) further comprises: at least one dual heating or cooling system (170) configured to heat or to cool the at least one space or surface (140) and comprising a Peltier device (171), said Peltier device (171) comprising at least two cuboids (172, 172') made of two semiconductor materials having different electron densities, said at least two cuboids (172, 172') being placed thermally in parallel to each other and electrically in series, interconnected with thermally conducting metal bridging plates (173, 173') and sandwiched between a non-conducting material reduced temperature cover plate (174) and a non-conducting material elevated temperature cover plate (174') and configured to be supplied with DC electric current via electrical connections (179); at least one first heat exchanger (175) thermally connected as a heat source to the Peltier device's (171) reduced temperature cover plate (174); at least one second heat exchanger (176) thermally connected as a heat sink to the Peltier device's (171) elevated temperature cover plate (174'); at least one fan or fan assembly (177, 178) configured to cause environmental air to flow along the at least one heat exchanger (175, 176); at least one nozzle (180) configured to pass and direct the environmental air flow having passed the at least one first and/or second heat exchanger (175, 176) and heated or cooled towards the at least one space or surface (140) configured to place the target (190) or the subject (192) therein or thereon; and at least one means (181) configured to control the DC electric current supply to the Peltier device (171).
