    • A memory system couples command, address or write data signals from a memory controller to a memory device and read data signals from the memory device to the memory controller. A respective strobe generator circuit in each of the memory controller and the memory device each generates an in-phase strobe signal and a quadrature strobe signal. Command, address or write data signals stored in respective output latches in the memory controller are clocked by the in-phase signals from the internal strobe generator circuit. These command, address or write data signals are latched into input latches in the memory device by the quadrature strobe signal coupled from the memory controller to the memory device. In substantially the same manner, read data signals are coupled from the memory device to the memory controller using the in-phase and quadrature strobe signals generated by the internal strobe generator circuit.

    • An apparatus and method for an analog fine delay line, a hybrid delay line, and a delay locked loop (DLL) is described. In the DLL, a coarse phase detector compares a reference signal and feedback signal in controlling coarse phase adjustment signals indicating whether a delay of a coarse delay line should be increased or decreased. Similarly, a fine phase detector compares the reference signal and feedback signal to generate a locking bias signal, which may increase or decrease a delay of an analog fine delay line. The analog fine delay line and coarse delay line may be connected in series creating the hybrid delay line having a total delay comprised of the coarse delay and the fine delay. Additionally, a fine bias generator may control the fine delay in response to an initiating bias signal from an analog phase generator or the locking bias signal.

    • Fuel cells (1) are stacked, supported and electrically connected into a battery structure with a connector block (20). The anode and cathode elements of each fuel cell are provided with conductive terminating elements, preferably extending downward U-shaped configuration from the upper ends of the elements. The connector block comprises a series of conductive apertures which positioned and sized to accommodate the conductive terminating elements. When the terminating elements and apertures are engaged, the connector block mechanically supports the anodes and cathodes. This arrangement also permits selective rapid cell removal for replacement or servicing. The connector block also includes electrically conductive elements which electrically connect the fuel cells in a desired interconnection, which may be serial, parallel, or mixed. The cells are also provided with keyed members for interlocking with a support tray (45) having cof-itting keyed elements (41). Lateral end elements extend between the connector block and support tray to complete and open enclosure. Air is circulated through a duct (50) defined by the connector block.

    • A method of distributing software over a communication network includes the steps of: making the software available on a file server attached to the network; providing and executing an installation application on a user's computer attached to the network; monitoring file requests made by the installation application; identifying file requests which relate to files which are not present on the user's computer; downloading the identified files from the file server; storing the downloaded files in storage media on the user's computer; and directing the file requests for the identified files, and any future file requests for those files, to the downloaded versions of those files. Similar methods are provided for executing software over a network and upgrading software over a network.
