The reduction gear includes a load sensitive part that is rotatable in response to reaction forces created during operation of the power tool. A torsion spring, arranged to counteract any such rotation, includes a first end and a second end, the first end including a first connective interface that is rotationally lockable to a connective interface of the load sensitive part, and the second end including a second connective interface that is rotationally lockable with respect to at least one of the housing and the motor. At least one of the first and the second connective interfaces includes an element for prohibiting axial movement between the connected parts.

摘要： An electric hand held pulse tool for performing tightening operations where torque is delivered in pulses to tighten screw joints. The pulse tool includes a bidirectional electric motor, an output shaft, a sensor for monitoring a parameter reflecting a delivered torque pulse, and a control unit for controlling the electric motor. The sensor provides information regarding the monitored parameter to the control unit. The control unit, during a tightening operation performed by the pulse tool in a first direction, controls the motor to provide at least one torque pulse on the output shaft in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction. The sensor monitors a parameter reflecting a delivered torque pulse on the output shaft in the second direction. The control unit also determines information about the nature and state of a joint, due to the torque pulse on the output shaft in the second direction.

摘要： A hydraulic torque impulse generator includes a drive cylinder with a hydraulic fluid chamber, an output shaft with an impulse receiving portion connected to a radially movable seal element and intermittently dividing the hydraulic fluid chamber into high and low pressure compartments, and cam profiles which can displace the seal element from an idling position to a high pressure pulse generating position. A by-pass passage communicates fluid between the high and low pressure compartments, and a valve element movable between closed and open positions controls the fluid flow. The valve element is closed during pressure build-up in the high pressure compartment and opens when a high pressure pulse is completed, and is part of a control spindle coupled to the drive cylinder. The control spindle rotates through an angular play by inherent kinetic energy at an abrupt stop of the drive cylinder at the generation of each high pressure pulse.

MPS coded signals with different base frequencies are transmitted into the fastener and a corresponding set of reflected signals are received from the fastener. Each reflected signal is cross-correlated with the corresponding transmitted signal, and a quality attribute of each transmitted signal is determined from the cross-correlated signals. Based on the quality attributes at least one parameter of an ultrasonic measurement signal is determined and the measurement is performed by transmitting the ultrasonic measurement signal into the fastener, and receiving a reflected ultrasonic measurement signal.
