    • A housing for a telephonic electronic component, such as a telephone headset amplifier, adapted to be positioned in supporting relation beneath a standard, desktop telephone. The housing generally includes a base unit that sits flush on a desktop, and an upper unit that is positioned in covering relation to the base unit, with an enclosed cavity being defined between the base and upper units. The upper unit includes an inclined, upwardly facing surface on which a telephone may be positioned, and a control panel extending across the entire width of the unit's leading edge. The control panel extends upwardly and outwardly from the upwardly facing surface, thereby defining a lip across the interface between the surface and control panel. The lip serves as an abutment which prevents the telephone from sliding off of the unit. Additional features of the present invention include a telephone handset lift-off assembly, and an on-line indicator assembly that extends a predetermined distance outwardly, and preferably upwardly, from the base unit.

    • A rodent repeller having an elongated body, an end cap, an apex, a power supply, a buzzer, an LED, an LED transformer, and a buzzer transformer. Connection of the power supply to the buzzer via the buzzer transformer produces a signal to discourage rodents from remaining in a vicinity of the repeller stake, and connection of the power supply to the LED via the LED transformer produces a visual indicator that the repeller stake is operable. The LED transformer receives a voltage from the power supply, and the voltage varies in amount from a high voltage to a low voltage. The LED transformer controls the amount of power to the LED such that the LED has a high brightness when the high voltage is received by the LED transformer and the LED has a low brightness when the low voltage is received by the LED transformer.

    • A solar light stick for use as a lawn or garden novelty. The solar light stick has a support member, a solar panel, a rechargeable battery, an LED, and a wand. The wand contains a light transmissive material that may be transparent or translucent. The solar panel charges the rechargeable battery which, in turn, provides power to the LED. The LED is positioned to provide light to the interior of the wand. As such, the LED may be located within a recess in the wand. Voids, such as interior bubbles, suspended objects, or surface irregularities may help to disperse light from the LED in a direction external to the wand.
