摘要： A flip-lid mirror cosmetic-product packaging 100 and method of manufacture thereof. The packaging includes a base unit 102, a half lid 108, and a mirror lid 110. The base unit includes a tray (10, fig. 2) having plurality of cosmetic products (12, fig. 2). The base unit has a first elongate side and a second elongate side. The half lid is pivotally attached to the first elongate side 104 with an accommodation gap (109, fig. 3). The mirror lid is pivotally attached to an upper edge of the second elongate side 106. An edge of mirror lid abuts to the second elongate side, to maintain the mirror lid in a tilted pivotal angle when in an open state. The mirror lid in its closed state lies adjacent to the tray, and is accommodated within the accommodation gap, so that the half lid in its closed state overlays an externally-facing surface of mirror lid in its closed state. The lid may be held closed using button-and-loop fasteners (112, 114, 116, 118), or a permanent magnet arrangement.

Said casing 102 has a first part 302 including a carrier 308 at a bottom region, a lipstick bullet 304 is mounted on the carrier 308 and has an elongate shape comprising a sloping top portion (402, Figure 4); a second part 104 which, along with the first part 302, is coupled to the carrier 308 which is arranged to move in an axial direction relative to the second part 104 in response to the first part 302 being rotated relative to the second part 104; and a protruding element 106 attached to the second part 104. The arrangement 100 further comprises a protective covering 108 which covers the first part 302 when applied to the casing 102. The sloping top portion (402, Figure 4) faces in a range of 150 to 210 degrees away from the protruding element 106 when the lipstick bullet 304 is unscrewed to a fully deployed position. The arrangement 100 may have a grip-enhancing coating with an anti-slip texture on the casing 102 and the covering 108. This may provide a better grip to fingers of a user through friction.

摘要： The application discloses a dual compartment pouch 100 wherein a product 208 is stored in a first compartment 204 and cushioning elements 206 (such as pellets, beads, snow or preferably sequins) are stored in the other compartment 202. At least one of the compartments are resealable. The pouch is able to attenuate ultra-violet light whilst permitting visible wavelengths. Preferably the cushioning elements are planer disks with raised protrusions, ideally also comprising either holographic or micro-embossed images as an anti-counterfeiting measure and may be fabricated from a plastic or metal sheet material. The pouch may be welded at least partially around a peripheral edge and also comprises a zipper (102, Figure 1). The wall 304 separating the first and second compartments may comprise apertures to allow gaseous diffusion of aromatic substances between the compartments. Ideally, the pouch has a length in the range of 50-500mm, has a wall thickness of between 35-250 microns. The peripheral edges of the pouch may have a metallic glossy texture.
