摘要： A method for quickly cutting rigid polyurethane foam laminate, especially metal faced laminate, while the laminate is continuously transported on a conveyor, consists of moving circular saws, am arranged in fixed disposition alternately above and below the laminate, towards and away from the laminate in a line perpendicular to the laminate. The saw blades collectively extend across the width of the laminate. Alternatively the blades are moved with a giratory motion to increase the effective cutting width of each blade enabling the blade diameter to be reduced. Saws (11 and 12) are two of three saws extending across the width of laminate (14) supported on a frame (15) mounted in guides (16) on a carriage (17) movable in synchronism with advancing laminate (14). The saw blades (11' and 12') are moved alternately into cutting engagement with the laminate by displacement of frame (15) relatively to carriage (17).

The compounds are useful as selective herbicides for grass weeds in broad-leaved crops.

摘要： Compositions containing insect behaviour modifying compounds containing carbon-to-carbon unsaturation, e.g. pheromones, are stabilised by the addition of a tertiary phenylene diamine of formula: (FORMULA) wherein R1 represents an aromatic residue, R2 represents H or an alkyl, alkenyl, cyloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, alkaryl, aralkyl, aryl, acyl, acyloxy or nitroso group and R3 and R4, which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, alkaryl, aralkyl, aryl, acyl, acyloxy or nitroso group. These compositions are usefully enclosed in micro-capsules for spraying in an area of insect infestation in order to disrupt mating patterns, and the invention particularly applies to micro-encapsulation of the compositions in polyureas, the tiertiary phenylene diamines having the advantage that they do not react with the diisocyanate monomer during the micro-encapuslation process.
