    • Compression molded feed of fibrous vegetables having curled outer surfaces, and a molding machine for molding the feed. The feed consists of compression molded fibrous vegetables (21) which have outer surfaces (31) formed by entangling curled fibers, and a core (32) formed by entangling linear fibers which are not curled. The molding machine consists of a molding cylinder (1) for charging the fibrous vegetables (21), an auxiliary plunger (6) incorporating a plunger (11) and a hydraulic jack (9) for actuating the plunger (11), the auxiliary plunger being slidably telescoped within the cylinder (1) by a hydraulic cylinder (4), and cutting blades (3) inserted into the side of the cylinder (1). The compression molded feed is fabricated by the steps of charging the fibrous vegetables (21) into the cylinder (1), making incisions of predetermined length in the vegetables (21) using the cutting blades (3), inserting the auxiliary plunger (6) into the cylinder (1) while causing the plunger (11) to protrude, compressing the fibrous vegetables (21) while curling the outer surfaces (31) of the vegetables (21), then inserting the plunger (11) into the auxiliary plunger (6), and then finally compressing the vegetables (21).

    • An un-baling system for transforming substantially rectangular bales of farm product into smaller substantiality rectangular sized bales of farm products. The un-baling system incorporates a first rail mounted conveyor subsystem connected to a first rail mounted conveyor-thrasher subsystem. The first rail mounted conveyor-thrasher subsystem is connected to a platform conveyor subsystem in such a way as to enable the first rail mounted conveyor subsystem to convey the farm product to the first rail mounted conveyor-thrasher subsystem wherein the farm product is thrashed. The thrashed farm product is gravity fed onto the platform conveyor subsystem. The platform conveyor subsystem then feeds the thrashed farm product into the baling machine. A plurality of un-baling systems may be ganged together to further increase the volume of production in transforming large substantially rectangular bales of farm products into smaller substantiality rectangular sized bales of farm products.

The holding chamber has an outlet and an inlet coupled to the compression chamber. The holding chamber also has an axis defined by a line extending between the center of the inlet to the center of the outlet. The net expansion and placement mechanism is for receiving the net, stretching the net to obtain a cross-sectional shape that is slightly larger than that of the holding chamber, and placing the net over the holding chamber with one end of the net slightly extending beyond the outlet. The bale advance mechanism is coupled to the holding chamber and compression chamber. Its function is to advance the bale from the compression chamber to the holding chamber and through the holding chamber outlet such that the bale contacts the end of the net that extends beyond the outlet and pulls the net onto the bale when the bale advances through the outlet.
