    • A molding device for pre-shaped plastic films has a body, a platform and a driving shaft. The body can be rotatably mounted in a pre-shape machine and has an annular side surface and a top opening. The platform is detachably mounted in the top opening of the body. The driving shaft is mounted longitudinally through the body, movably extends longitudinally relative to the body and has an end attached securely to the platform to selectively raise the platform to lift a pre-shaped plastic film from the body. Accordingly, the plastic films can easily be separated from the platform, and to manually separate the plastic film from the molding device is unnecessary to prevent the plastic films from being damaged.

    • The invention provides apparatus for cutting out a row of capsules from a capsule strip and for fixing them on a transverse row of filled receptacles advancing stepwise in an installation for filling receptacles. The apparatus comprising: means for causing a capsule strip to advance stepwise over the path along which rows of receptacles advance; cutting means for cutting out a row of capsules from said capsule strip, said cutting means being disposed parallel to the row of receptacles to be closed and being located above said row; transfer means for transferring a row of capsules from the station for cutting out said capsules to a station for placing capsules on the receptacles to be closed in a row; fixing means for at least partially fixing the capsules that have been placed on the rims of respective ones of said receptacles; and control means for controlling said means for advancing the capsule strip stepwise, said means for cutting out capsules, said transfer means, and said fixing means, so that they operate synchronously with the means for advancing said rows of filled receptacles. The spacing of the cutting means is smaller than the spacing of the receptacles to be closed.

    • A composite laminate sheet material consists of a metallic foil positioned on a congruent thick sheet of paper by means of an adhesive which can be heat cured. The composite laminate is directed via a series of rollers through a printer and a rotary die cutter where suitable geometrical sections are cut in the laminate. After the cutting operation, the sheet is directed to a series of rollers having their axes of rotation parallel to and beneath a main roller. One series of rollers directs the foil material to a first collection site, while another series of rollers directs the paper waste material to a second collection site. The rollers are so positioned that the foil material is directed to its site in a direction transverse to that of the waste material. The sections are automatically removed from the composite material unto a conveyor belt where they are directed to a heat tunnel to permanently affix the foil to the paper backing.
