    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely estimate the situation of a generation source accompanied by an explosion.
      SOLUTION: When an explosion is generated and an explosion cloud formed by the explosion is observed from an observation point, a device for estimation of an explosion generation source 10 is used for estimating information about the explosion generation source based on the state of the explosion cloud. The device 10 includes: an explosion position estimation section 1 for estimating an explosion position, which is a position of the explosion cloud on a map, from an observation distance, which is a distance from the observation point to the explosion cloud, and a direction in which the explosion cloud is observed from the observation point; an explosion scale output section 2 for outputting an explosion scale estimated according to at least one of a horizontal maximum width of the explosion cloud and a cloud width angle, which is an angle between straight lines respectively connecting each end point of the horizontal maximum width of the explosion cloud with the observation point, and the observation distance; and an explosion height estimation section 3 for estimating an explosion height of the generation source which generated the explosion, based on a vertical maximum height of the explosion cloud, an altitude of the explosion position and the explosion scale.
