摘要： A wheel assembly comprising a wheel-shaped stator plate provided between two wheel-shaped rotor plates, all of which being co-axially attached to a rotation shaft. Each rotor includes a plurality of permanent magnets on the side facing the stator. The stator includes a plurality of coils corresponding in position to the permanent magnets of the rotors. Corresponding magnet faces of the different rotors have opposite orientations, and adjacent magnet faces of the same rotor have also opposite orientations. The rotors are attached to each other to maintain this configuration in place as the rotors rotate. The coils are configured so that each coil generates a magnetic field that extends across the surface of the stator plate to react with corresponding permanent magnets in both rotors, thus maximizing use of the magnetic field generated by the coils and causing the rotor plates to rotate simultaneously. A stream of cooling fluid may be run within the stator plate for reducing overheating.

摘要： A kit for building an adaptive unmanned CIED vehicle comprising a vehicle chassis having a locomotion system for moving the vehicle in an operating environment, and a controllable steering mechanism for steering the vehicle as it moves in the operating environment; one or more motors for coupling to the locomotion system to the controllable steering mechanism; a remote control unit for communication with and for controlling the one or more motors and the controllable steering mechanism; payload devices for performing tasks attributed to the vehicle; and a platform for providing the capability of adapting the vehicle to perform new tasks in view of evolution in the operating environment, the platform comprising: a casing for mounting on or in the vehicle chassis; a computing device for connection to a selection of payload devices from the payload devices, and a memory for storing computing instructions for controlling operation of the selection of payload devices; a power source for powering at least one of the payload devices; power ports connected to the power source; and data ports connected to the computing device for connecting at least one of the payload devices to the computing device; wherein the computing device, the power source, the power ports and the data ports are mounted to the casing and wherein the payload devices and the one or more motors are for mounting to either the vehicle chassis or the casing. The payload devices are plug and play devices and are connected to the platform using standardized military connectors.

摘要： A system and method for performing field measurement and testing of a plurality of widely spaced laser beams used in visual warning technology (VWT). VWT uses a combination of widely spaced laser beams, to warn civilians from approaching too close to military security areas. The widely spaced laser beams are displaced using rhomboidal prisms. Each rhomboidal prism receives a corresponding laser beam and displaces it toward a collecting lens. The lens focuses the displaced beams received thereon onto an imaging sensor for testing. Beam shutters may be used for selectively blocking one or more beams in order to test the beams separately and in different combinations.
