    • An anchor assembly is used with a medical device to engage the medical device against a body wall. The anchor assembly includes a pivotable anchor and a filament. The anchor is seated in a longitudinal orientation within a recessed channel located at the distal end of the medical device. Pulling on a proximal free end of the filament causes the anchor to pivot from a longitudinal orientation to a perpendicular orientation. The anchor in the perpendicular orientation engages against a body wall to immobilize the medical device.

    • A rule-based end-pointer isolates spoken utterances contained within an audio stream from background noise and non-speech transients. The rule-based end-pointer includes a plurality of rules to determine the beginning and/or end of a spoken utterance based on various speech characteristics. The rules may analyze an audio stream or a portion of an audio stream based upon an event, a combination of events, the duration of an event, or a duration relative to an event. The rules may be manually or dynamically customized depending upon factors that may include characteristics of the audio stream itself, an expected response contained within the audio stream, or environmental conditions.

    • A method and an apparatus for obtaining a precoding matrix indicator is disclosed, which relates to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: obtaining a first rotation matrix according to first channel information; obtaining a first differential matrix according to the first rotation matrix and a currently-obtained instantaneous beam forming matrix/precoding matrix; and quantizing, according to a first differential codebook, a pre-acquired first rank indicator, and preset quantization criteria, the first differential matrix to obtain a differential precoding matrix indicator. The apparatus includes: a first rotation matrix obtaining module, a first differential matrix obtaining module, and a differential precoding matrix indicator obtaining module. The differential PMI is obtained according to the channel information, and the differential PMI is used for feedback.
