    • 334,873. Godfrey, E. L., and Wrentmore, G. W. March 7, 1929. Air-heating stoves. - Enclosures for horticultural, incubation, propagation, and other similar purposes are provided with heating apparatus incorporating a circulation system for heated air mounted in a housing and including a jacket or chamber within which the air is adapted to be heated, a flue extending from the jacket into the space to be heated, and another flue communicating with the jacket and also with the space to be heated, the jacket being heated from the exterior by virtue of another jacket or space in which the heating gases from a lamp are circulated means being provided for adjusting the angle of the housing relatively to the lamp. The heated gases from an oil burner a circulate in a cylinder b closed at its upper end and surrounded by a jacket c. From the lower part of the cylinder b the heated gases ascend through a flue or outer jacket d and escape through a central flue f and a cowl g. A leakage of heated gases may take place between the tubes f. From the upper part of the jacket c and diametrically across it extends a pipe leading into a garden frame, or like enclosure, and into the lower part of the jacket extends a pipe h communicating with a pipe k forming an outlet from the frame. The air in the jacket c is heated by the heated gases circulating round the jacket and passes through the pipe i into the frame, colder air from the latter passing into the jacket through pipes k, i. Fresh air may be drawn in through a slide valve. The, heating apparatus may be provided with non- conducting material for conserving the heat. The pipe i may also be lagged, and may be perforated for the escape of condensation water. Indicators, recording instruments, moisture pans, and levelling or locating devices may be incorporated in the apparatus. The heating apparatus is provided with a large weather-proof housing having a sliding cover l and a side door m may be provided with a window. The housing k is angularly adjustable relatively to the lamp by means of a slotted arm a and a screw and nut a . The lamp may have a large reservoir and one or more burners, with automatic heat-regulating controls. Specification 323,248 is referred to.
