摘要： Attachment systems configured to fixedly hold a rail are described, including a first connector integrated with a tactical accessory mount, a base element, including a first engagement portion configured to at least partially wrap around a first edge of the rail, and a movable element configured to move relative to the base and including a second engagement portion configured to at least partially wrap around a second edge of the rail. A locking mechanism is provided to hold the movable element in a closed position with the second engagement portion holding the second edge of the rail and the first engagement portion holding the first edge of the rail. A second connector may be attached to the base element to hold the base element to the tactical accessory mount via the first connector.

摘要： A wearable load redistribution system can include a base support structure and a thoracic frame configured to surround an upper torso of a wearer of the system. The base support structure can include a support frame and a plurality of support members disposed at distal ends of the support frame. The thoracic frame can include a coupling structure, a front plate, and a plurality of struts. A connector member can removably connect the coupling structure to the support frame. The plurality of struts is mated to the front plate to redistribute a weight of the front plate away from shoulders of the wearer and towards the base support structure.

The connectors may be configured to resist rotation of the carrier and accessory holder with respect to each other, and/or to secure the accessory holder at a fixed angle with respect to the carrier. The accessory holder may also include flanges, surface treatments, or other features, that assist in holding the accessory in the holder.

The self-adjusting cummerbund may include a tensioning mechanism configured to allow the cummerbund to extend and retract, and may be configured to provide varying resistive force. The tensioning mechanism may include one or more of a sliding portion, a continuous patterned length of material that is folded over itself, and an elastic member that is attached to the sliding member and the length of material. Body armor plates may be held between outer and inner chest panels and/or between outer and inner back panels. A strip of webbing may be used to secure the body armor plate between the outer and inner panels.
