    • A multi-core processor system may support 3D image rendering on an autostereoscopic display. The 3D image rendering includes pre-processing of depth map and 3D image wrapping tasks. The pre-processing of depth map may include a foreground prior depth image smoothing technique, which may perform a depth gradient detection and a smoothing task. The depth gradient detection task may detect areas with large depth gradient and the smoothing task may transform the large depth gradient into a linearly changing shape using low-strength, low-pass filtering techniques. The 3D image wrapping may include vectorizing the code for 3D image wrapping of row pixels using an efficient single instruction multiple data (SIMD) technique. After vectorizing, an API such as OpenMP may be used to parallelize the 3D image wrapping procedure. The 3D image wrapping using OpenMP may be performed on rows of the 3D image and on images of the multiple view images.

In one implementation, a method of managing exclusive access to a data partition within a database system assesses a first host and a second host that have exclusive access to a first and second data partition, respectively, within a database system. The method assigns exclusive access of the data partition to one of the first and second hosts based on factors that may include the processing powers of first and second the hosts, and on processing requirements (such as data quantity and data criticalness) for data on the first and second data partitions.

    • The invention provides a method and device for filtering orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) channel estimate result, to solve the problems in the prior art that for channel estimate result filtering the realization is complex or the performance is poor. By embodiments the following method is described: transforming time domain synchronous symbols received by the terminal equipment to frequency domain synchronous symbols; computing frequency domain impulse response sequences based on the frequency domain synchronous symbols; adjusting least mean square (LMS) adaptive filter coefficients based on the frequency domain impulse response sequences; obtaining coefficients of the data symbol channel estimate result frequency domain filter based on the coefficients obtained from said adjusting; filtering the OFDM channel estimate result by using the data symbol channel estimate result frequency domain filter. The corresponding device is disclosed by the embodiments. There is less computation, simpler realization and better filtering performance provided with the OFDM channel estimate result frequency domain filter obtained from the technical solution of the present invention.

    • Double transformer balun for maximum PA (Power Amplifier) power. A novel approach is presented herein by which conversion from a differential signal to single-ended signal may be achieved using a double transformer balun design. The secondary coils of the double transformer balun also operate as a choke for the PA supply voltage. The secondary coils can operate as an RF (Radio Frequency) trap or choke to keep any AC (Alternating Current) signal components and to pass any DC (Direct Current) components. By using a double transformer balun design, relatively thinner tracks may be employed thereby ensuring a high degree of electromagnetic coupling efficiency and high performance. Also, these relatively thinner tracks consume a relatively small amount of space on the die. The double transformer balun design also includes a matching Z (impedance) block that is operable to match the Z of an antenna or line that the PA is driving.
