    • A bicycle steering lock having a pin inserted into openings in the steering housing and the fork shaft to lock the steering of the bicycle. A lock guard is welded to the steering housing and a pin and ball receptacle is welded to the opposite side of the housing. A pin lock inserted through the lock guard, through the housing and the fork shaft into the pin and ball receptacle includes an outer pin containing a pair of ball bearings disposed within openings in the end of the outer pin. When inserted the pair of ball bearings are disposed adjacent to depressions in the inside surface of the pin and ball receptacle. A cylinder key lock is attached at the end opposite the key to a rotator which engages an inner pin. The inner pin has a large diameter section and a reduced diameter section at its end. When the large diameter section is in contact with the ball bearings, the ball bearings protrude through the outer pin and engage the depressions in the pin and ball receptacle to lock the outer pin to the pin and ball receptacle. When the inner pin is withdrawn so that the ball bearings are in contact with the reduced diameter section, the ball bearings can fall away from the depressions and the pin lock can be withdrawn from the bicycle.

    • The set of bicycle headsets that are threadless and/or have pressed frame cups/races can be locked to prohibit the nominal rotation of the headset and bicycle handlebars about the bicycle's steer tube by this invention. This invention uses standard threadless headset components in addition to three newly invented components: The upper head tube race with spin-lock grooves, the external ring lock, and the headset spacer with spin-lock grooves. The locking configuration is achieved by mating male pins on the interior surface of the external ring lock with female spin-lock grooves that are on the exterior surfaces of the upper head tube race with spin-lock grooves and headset spacer with spin-lock grooves. There are a sets of spin-lock grooves that, when the male pins are mated accordingly, provide the locked and unlocked configurations of the headset.

    • An improved anti-theft locking device permanently and quickly securable to various objects by self-contained concealed fastener means sized to have an interference locking fit with a mounting bore such as the interior of a cycle handlebar or the like. The locking bolt may be secured to one end of a flexible cable normally stored and concealed in the handlebar and the major length of which is withdrawable therefrom when used to lash the cycle to a fixed object. The outer end of the cable is fixed to the locking bolt and this bolt is invertable so that either end is insertable into the locking mechanism depending upon whether or not the cable is in use. A variant embodiment of the invention is readily installed between a door and its casing and may utilize a linkage in lieu of a flexible cable as a part of the anchor subassembly.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle bar lock device for a motorcycle capable of locking a handle bar more easily, and saving cost.
      SOLUTION: The handle bar lock device for the motorcycle comprises a handle bar 31 attached to a steering shaft 65, a lock arm 71 attached to the handle bar 31 and equipped with an engaging lock pin 72 at a tip end portion, and a catch mechanism 73 capable of engaging with the lock pin 72 and equipped with a locking claw 104 as an engaging portion normally energized in an opening direction. In the catch mechanism 73, the locking claw 104 is disposed on a swiveling track 76 of the lock pin 72, and the lock pin 72 abuts on the locking claw 104 of the catch mechanism 73. Therefore, when external force is added, the locking claw 104 moves in a closing direction to be in a handle bar lock preparing state capable of engaging with the lock pin 72.
