    • A lightweight flashing capable of being conformed to a surface to be flashed reliant upon its construction (at least in part) using a weathering layer of a flexible material (eg; EDPM) supported so as to be conformable yet shape retaining (at least in part) by a mesh-like, perforate or other "open" character material (eg; aluminium sheet expanded into a mesh type form). The flashing in whole or in part is retainable on a substrate to be flashed by removal of an optional release sheet from a tack retaining adhesive matrix which preferably also bonds the conformable layer to the underside of the weathering layer. Optionally spigot or other skirt like structures in the flexible material of the weathering layer can be upstanding so as to flash about upstanding members that, for example, penetrate into a roof, eg; pipes, chimneys, skylights, etc.
