摘要： An assembly includes an inflatable, dome-like cover that is configured to rest atop an existing swimming pool. The cover has an inflatable portion that repels dirt, debris, water, and snow, preventing such debris from collecting thereon. The cover is produced from heavy duty, yet lightweight plastic or rubber material. The cover may sized and configured to fit a pool of any dimensions. Extending along a perimeter of the inflatable portion is a border about which openings are evenly spaced, through which tethers or cords may be tied for securing the assembly to the pool. At least one air valve is positioned proximal to the outer edge of the cover, enabling a user to inflate the assembly.

The encapsulated insulation is fastened to the bottom of the square support tubes with corrosion-free nylon anchors which allows the soft insulation assembly to span over the water and rest directly on the spa bartop surface sealing the heat in and keeping debris out. An arched fiberglass rod structure supports a weatherproof rainfly which is permanently affixed to the flat cover assembly to shed rain and debris. The entire assembly is held in place at each end with adjustable straps which stretch the cover from end to end keeping the rainfly taut. Removing the cover to access the spa involves undoing the straps on one end and rolling the cover assembly towards the other end until the desired amount of spa exposure is reached. Covering the spa after use is just the opposite procedure.

摘要： A solar heating system for heating a pool of water includes a water bag formed of materials such that when it is not in use, it is deflated and compressed so as to occupy little space. When the water bag is in use it is inflatable and expandable so as to contain a substantial amount of water which can be heated by the rays of the sun absorbed by the water bag. A water bag embodying the invention can be formed of inexpensive materials (e.g., plastic, rubber or canvas). The water bag is very portable and can be set up (to collect water and heat it) quickly and easily. When not in use it can be folded or rolled up taking up very little storage space. It does not interfere with the use of the pool of water it is intended to warm. It can be set up any place, close to the pool of water or by using longer hoses it can be located away from the pool, where the best sunlight and solar heat is available.

摘要： The pool cover is made of multi-layer light weight construction having a translucent top layer to permit sunlight to pass through an opaque bottom layer for absorbing sunlight passing through the transparent layer. In addition, a plurality of pockets are formed in the opaque layer having air encapsulated therein. When in use, the opaque layer becomes heated by sunlight thereby transferring heat by contact to the body of the water in the pool while also blocking light from the body of water to inhibit algae growth. The heated trapped air also serves to conduct heat to the body of water while also acting as a thermal insulation barrier during non-daylight hours. The pool cover may also be turned upside down in use. In other embodiment, all layers may be opaque.
