    • The purpose of this invention is the acquisition of the means for obstructing the accident which makes it impossible to start an internal combustion engine driven by a cell motor resulting from the excessive discharge of the battery for driving it.
      In this invention, the battery which is as large as the conventional one consists of two equal size small ones. Its terminals consist of a common minus pole one and two independent plus pole ones. The generator charges the battery under constant voltage. Its charging current reaches the said plus pole terminals passing two diodes respectively. The cell motor is driven through a magnetic switch device. The said two small batteries alternate in energizing the loads including the cell motor and the relay for it simultaneously through the said two plus pole terminals respectively. Every time the cell motor starts the engine once, the said two small batteries alternate in functioning resulting in ensuring the engine start.

    • Described embodiments include a system and a method. A system includes a controllable electrochemical cell configured to output electric power. The controllable cell includes an electrolyte and a first working electrode configured to transfer electrons to or from the electrolyte. The controllable cell includes a second working electrode configured to transfer electrons to or from the electrolyte. The controllable cell includes a gating electrode spaced-apart from the second working electrode. The gating electrode is configured, if biased relative to the second working electrode, to modify an electric charge, field, or potential in the space between the electrolyte and the second working electrode. The controllable cell includes a control circuit coupled to the gating electrode of the controllable cell and configured to apply a biasing signal responsive to an electrical property of an external electrical load coupled to the controllable cell.
