摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture a hot forged non-heat treated steel free from the coarsening of the structure as hot forged and excellent in strength and toughness by subjecting the molten metal of a low alloy steel having a specified compsn. to deoxidation treatment, and thereafter, furthermore executing forced deoxidation by Al, Ti or the like. CONSTITUTION:Molten steel from a steel-making furnace is deoxidized by C, Si, Mn, Fe-Si, Fe-Mn or the like or is furthermore deoxidized by a vacuum degassing apparatus or the like to reduce the amt. of dissolved oxygen to about 10 to 100ppm. After that, this steel is subjected to forced deoxidation by a strong deoxidizer constituted of Al, Ti, Zr or their alloy and is cast. The steel is cooled from the solidifying temp. to 1000 deg.C at >=20 deg.C/min average cooling rate. The hot forged non heat treated steel contg., by weight, 0.01 to 0.60% C, 0.05 to 2.00% Si, 0.03 to 3.00% Mn, 0.04 to 0.20% S, 0.05 to 2.00% Cr, 0.03 to 0.30% V, 0.008 to 0.02% N and specified small amounts of one or more kinds of Al and Ti or Zr as well, contg. elements having the atomic number more than that of Hf and in which crystallized and precipitated products are finely dispersed can be obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prepare the low phosphorus high Cr steel by carrying out the melting of a high Cr steel and the dephosphorization thereof and the mxing with a low phosphorus steel in a separate container respectively. CONSTITUTION:A ferrochrome, a waste iron or the like are molten in an arc furnace to prepare a molten metal of the high Cr steel. Subsequently, said molten metal is transferred into a laddle and, after a molten slag is removed, the ladle is covered by a lid to form an inert gas atmosphere such as an Ar atmosphere therein. CaC2 or a Ca alloy such as a Ca-Si, a Ca-Al or a Ni-Ca alloy is added from a lance pipe immersed in said molten metal to dephosphorize the high Cr molten steel. On the other hand, the high Cr molten steel subjected to the above described dephosphorization treatment is added to the low phosphorus molten steel having been prepared in a separate arc furnace from a nozzle of a ladle bottom and, after sufficient mixing, heated to a higher temp., subjected to light decarburization treatment and component adjustment and, further, the final decarburization and the component adjustment are carried out in a VOD furnace to enable to prepare the extremely low phosphours high Cr steel with a P content of below 0.010% at a low cost compared to a conventional method.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a MoO3 briquette being used in adding Mo to steel in a good adding yield by using an organic binder to bind a mixture consisting of powdered MoO3 and a reducing agent of Fe-Si particles. CONSTITUTION:MoO3 powder and a reducing agent of Fe-Si less than 2mm. in size are mixed to form Si/Mo ratio between 0.45 and 0.65. The mixture is mixed with an organic binder such as waste pulp liquid or molasses, is formed into brickette of a specified form, and then dried. The briquette is added to molten steel so that MoO3 is reduced to MoO by Fe-Si and alloyed into molten steel. MoO3 is very easy to reduce and therefore is easily reduced by Fe-Si in a short period time. Said procedure prevents loss in the form of MoO3 having a high vapor pressure so as to effect a high yield alloying in steel.
