    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a target, which is excellent in accuracy, a method for suppressing background rise and a detector.SOLUTION: A first target binding substance which is fixed to a carrier and can be bound to the target, and a second target binding substance which carries a labeled substance and can be bound to the target are used. Then, a sample, the first target binding substance and the second target binding substance are reacted to form a complex of the target, the first target binding substance and the second target binding substance in the sample in a first vessel. Then, the complex is detected by detection of the labeled substance in a second vessel after moving the complex from the first vessel to the second vessel. Thus, an influence of the second target binding substance which is not involved in formation of the complex and carries the labeled substance is suppressed, and the target in the complex is detected with excellent accuracy.
