摘要： A window fastener includes a lever handle (10) rotatably mounted to a base (14). The handle (10) is selectively movable to a closed position, an open position and a venting position. A flap (16) is pivotally coupled to the base (14). A drive element (20) is movable by the lever handle (10) to cause the flap (16) to move from a closed position to an open position as the handle is moved from its closed position to the open position. A retainer element (30) is movable to a retention position in response to movement of the lever handle (10) to retain the flap (16) in an open position when the handle is moved to the venting position. The lever handle (10) has a first tongue (13) for maintaining the flap (16) in the closed position of the flap and a second tongue (28) engageable, in use, with a window frame when the lever handle is in the venting position.

摘要： A method of installing a lock plug in a sub-assembled Euro lock cylinder housing. The sub- assembly lock cylinder housing has a removal pin keeper plug (10) to retain the pins in the lock cylinder housing. The method includes the steps of inserting into the sub-assembled lock cylinder housing a retaining clip (15) a pin retaining part (17) of which slidingly engages with the keeper plug (10) to assume a pin retaining position. This is followed by the step of withdrawing the keeper plug (10) from the lock cylinder housing while retaining the lock plug through the same end of the lock cylinder housing from which the keeper plug (10) has been removed. Upon completion of insertion of the lock plug, the retaining clip (15) is removed. The keeper plug (10) has a longitudinal groove (14) into which the retaining part (17) of the retaining clip (15) can engage.
