摘要： MEMs devices are integrally fabricated with included micro or nanoparticles by providing a mixture of a sacrificial material and a multiplicity of particles, disposing the mixture onto a substrate, fabricating a MEMs structure on the substrate including at least part of the mixture, so that at least some of the mixture is enclosed in the MEMs structure, removing the sacrificial material, and leaving at least some of the multiplicity of particles substantially free and enclosed in the MEMs structure. The step of fabricating a MEMs structure is quite general and is contemplated as including one or a multiplicity of additional steps for creating some type of structure in which the particles, which may be microbeads or nanobeads, are included. A wide variety of useful applications for MEMs integrated with micro or nanoparticles are available.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a printed circuit board (PCB) having different thicknesses in different areas includes: providing a first substrate having two lateral unwanted portions bounded two imaginary boundary lines, a binder layer having a through opening and a second substrate having a mounting area for mounting electronic elements; forming two slots bounded the imaginary boundary lines in an intermediated unwanted portion of the first substrate corresponding to the mounting area; laminating the first and second substrates, and the binder layer with the mounting area exposed via the through opening; filling the two slots and the through opening with a filling material, thereby obtaining a semifinished PCB board; cutting the semifinished PCB board along the imaginary boundary lines to remove the two lateral unwanted portions and a portion of the second substrate corresponding to the two lateral unwanted portions; and removing the intermediate unwanted portion and the filling material.

The base includes a basin in which an integrally formed filter-holding divider is disposed that separates the basin into a return sump and pumping chamber. The cover includes a water holding bowl, an inlet and a drain overlying the return sump that encloses a pump that provides fluid to the bowl via inlet when attached to the base. The cover includes a downwardly extending tube that fluidly registers with a discharge of the pump when attached to the base. In a preferred embodiment, the cover has upper and lower bowls connected by a spillway that conveys overflow from the upper bowl to the lower bowl where it is return via drain to the return sump. The cover can be configured to mate with the housing to enclose the entire basin, pump, and filter.

One end of the pole tip portion, constituting the bottom of the “T,” forms a narrow nose segment at an air bearing surface, while a wing segment at the opposite end of the pole tip portion constitutes the cross-bar top of the “T.” A transition segment extends between the nose segment and the wing segment. A yoke portion of the upper pole includes a surface that is parallel to the air bearing surface and recessed therefrom by a P3R depth. The transition segment does not widen significantly until after the P3R depth, accordingly, the wing segment is recessed from the air bearing surface by more than the P3R depth.
