    • A balancing weight dispenser has a balancing weight storage space for storing a belt of balancing weights on a reel, a belt guide, and a cutter at one end of and/or along a length of the belt guide. The cutter comprises a knife, which is fixedly attached to the balancing weight dispenser. For delivery of a required amount of balancing weight mass, the belt of balancing weights is pulled from the reel until the desired number of balancing weights has been obtained. In the next step, the belt of balancing weights is cut, preferably between two adjacent balancing weights, to separate the selected portion of balancing weights from the remaining belt of balancing weights. The remaining belt falls back to the guide and remains in a desired position for receiving the next portion of balancing weights. This manually operated balancing weight dispenser can be provided at significantly lower costs compared to the automated high performance balancing weight dispensers as known from the prior art. It is very robust and has no serviceable parts.

    • A dispenser for balancing weights for vehicles comprises a plurality of dispenser modules. The dispenser modules have a cartridge with at least two compartments for storing balancing weights. Each compartment has at least one retrieval opening. A cartridge actuator moves the cartridge linearly along a first axis, such that a retrieval feed opening is positioned above a slider feed opening in the dispenser module. A slider, which is operated by a slider actuator along a second axis, parallel to the first axis, has a balancing weight compartment, which can be moved under the slider feed opening, such that a balancing weight may drop from the cartridge into the compartment. The compartment is then moved to a picking tray in which the balancing weight is delivered to a handling device for placing the balancing weight to a wheel.

    • A terminal for a battery has a mounting section and a contacting section. There is a torque ring between the mounting section and the contacting section. The mounting section is for holding the terminal within a battery cover, into which it preferably is injection molded. The terminal is a hollow body, which has an outer surface and an inner surface. At the contacting section, the outer surface is conically shaped. At the mounting section, the outer surface has at least one labyrinth ring forming a labyrinth. The inner surface comprises at least two sections. An upper section is essentially surrounded by the contacting section, and preferably has a conical shape. A lower section is essentially surrounded by the mounting section. The lower section preferably has a concave cross-sectional shape. Between the upper section and the lower section, there is an edge. The edge at the inner surface may be essentially surrounded by the torque ring at the outer surface.
