    • An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The opening can be sealed by a closure, the closure having an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of "flip" type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. The closure may also be a two-part lid having a lower cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the container and an upper cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the lower cap.

The outer wall and the inner wall can be constructed from different materials such that the outer wall is harder and resists indentation, and the inner wall reduces the overall weight of the container.

    • This disclosure relates to a lid assembly (100) that has a lid assembly (100) for a container (10), such as a drinking container, that includes a lid member (110), and a pouring member (160), wherein the lid member (110) and pouring member (160) are releasably connected to the container (10). The lid member (110) may include a body member (112), a handle portion (118) connected to the body member (112), an internal threaded portion (116), an internal receiving portion (114), and a lid gasket member (130) arranged in the internal receiving portion (114). The pouring member (160) may include a spout collar (166), a spout (162), and a spout opening (164) extending through the spout (162), wherein the spout (162) extends from the spout collar (166) and includes an upper end (174) above an upper surface (176) of the spout collar (166). The lid assembly (100) has a closed orientation that prevents liquid from flowing through the opening of the pouring member and an open orientation that allows liquid to flow through the opening of the pouring member (160). When the lid assembly (100) is in the closed orientation, the lid gasket member (130) contacts both the upper end of the spout and the upper surface (176) of the spout collar (166).
