A speed reduction gear-box includes first and second gears. The sleeve fits inside a circular channel. When the bolts are tightened, the casing is free to move, to some extent, relative to the housing, so the gear self-align and are much less noisy during use. This structure also enables less precise quality control for the manufacture of the relevant components of the saw.

The vacuum cleaner further includes a filter chamber in the fluid flow path downstream from the cyclonic separator and upstream from the fluid flow motor. The filter chamber includes an outlet fluidiy communicating the filter chamber and the fluid flow motor and a tangential inlet fluidiy communicating the cyclonic separator and the filter chamber.

The annular filter media surrounds a filter air passageway along the filter axis and upstream of the fluid flow motor. A debris separator is upstream of the premotor filter in the fluid flow path and defines a debris separator axis. The filter axis is generally parallel to the motor axis.
